I just got this catit fountain in the mail today. I pulled out the instructions and tried sorting through all the languages to find English.. I got to page 16 without learning anything new and felt so frustrated. Your video made the instructions easy and fun! I hope they know how many people you help!

Love it! My cat has the Drinkwell 360. He uses it and its really beautiful. He also has been overweight at around 18 lbs and he's a tabby. We got him an automatic feeder. It feeds him multiple times a day but a lot less than we used to feed him. Hes at 12 lbs now 2 years later. We did some blood tests and apparently he just got really healthy really fast!

That is SO cute! I have a cat that demands to drink out of the bath tub faucet so I have to turn it on all the time for her. I wonder if this would satisfy her since it's always running...plus, it would be healthier. I tried a really expensive fountain a few years ago, and it broke within months. I might give this a try.

not sure if anyone will see this, but when my catit fountain is on, the flower petal is oveflowing on one side, not sure if theres something wrong or its because the pump is too powerful and overtime it will fix itself, thanks!

Thank you for this.. I'm looking for a fountain for my two cats they are 12 years old. They've never drank from a fountain, sink etc... They've always been given Brita Water, never tap. I would like to have the freedom to go visit my grandchildren for a weekend.. so was thinking of this fountain along with an automatic feeder. It's easier to get someone to come once a day to give them their wet food. Thinking of an automatic litter box as well. My question for you BB is, will this fountain hold enough water for them for a 3 day period, say from Friday afternoon to Sunday evening? what do you think? or will my neighbor have have to top it up? Please let me know.. I just want to make watching my kitties as easy as possible for my neighbor, they have a busy life and I don't want to inconvenience them too much. :) thanks so much for this video.. if I do get the Catit, you've made it easy to put together and get it running :)

Tarantula Channy yes it does! But it’s really subtle in my opinion. Gives a comforting glow. During the day time, it’s barely visible.

Thanks for the video which is very useful and informative. May I ask if your cat drinks more water from this new LED Catit fountain (blue one) or the old Catit fountain (green one)? I plan to get the Catit fountain and I am wondering which one is better to increase the cat's water intake?

L K my cat has had an equal appreciation for both! If I were to make a suggestion, go with the blue, since the little pockets can still hold a small amount of water if the power ever goes out - so your cat doesn’t go thirsty :)

We just replaced our previous version of the fountain with this version but don't seem to have the night light, did yours work straight out of the box or are we missing something? I would assume if its automatic it would have some sort of photocell?

I just want to know how long the cord is. The placement of the feeding area and the plug is a bit of a distance. I've been looking everywhere for a measurement on any fountain but they really like leaving that part out.

I like this new one. My cat just turned one year and I have used the old white and green model from day one. What I don't like is that USB contact. Occasionally when I am away at work she can disconnect the cable. The result is no water for the rest of that day until I am back home. That is why I like this new model. With those small reservoirs she can still have some water left. Also every now and then she takes off all the parts so when I am back home I find everything on the floor starting with flower and finishing with those green locks and a wet filter.😄 I don't know why she does that. Anyways, thanks for a nice presentation. I like your cat!😸

This is louder than I thought it would be. Am I doing something wrong? Also, how did you get that yellow part off? I've twisted it, but it won't come off. Thx for the helpful video; your cat is beautiful.

If it sounds loud, it may be a pump issue :/ mine only gets loud when it's low on water, but is relatively silent otherwise. And the yellow thing should just pop out! It's snug, but can be pulled out :)

Hi, Now that you have had for a period of time... I also have one, I'd like to ask you a question. Mine will periodically overflow? Does your's? I've taken it apart and cleaned it and within a week and half it starts overflowing. I have ragdolls (2) so I'm not sure if it is their hair that is clogging it, or I don't have it put together right?? I love it so much better than the other ones because it is easier to clean and lets face it, so darn cute. But thank God I bought the lily pad mat to go underneath it or else I'd have a real mess. The other frustrating part was the manual... omg separate the manual into languages, I had to get the highlighter out and highlight English to pick it out. I dread looking at it again... which is why I came to RU-vid. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Oh wow, I'm so sorry you're having that issue!! I've never had that issue! My best guess is that either it's filled too much (which I doubt you're doing) or there's a malfunction in the structure of the pump. The pump does fully come apart for cleaning, but I've never found that it clogs that easily. My cat doesn't have ragdoll-length hair, but it is still pretty long and gets everywhere!! I believe they sell the pump separately, so maybe get a replacement? Or check that there are no cracks in the fountain to cause water leakage! I hope this helps!

@@BBsBeasties Thanks for responding... it definitely overflows we can see it getting nearer the rim and watch it now more carefully. I have washed the pump pretty good too...I pushed the puddle piece down real tight before and this time I left it looser, hoping that would allow the water to run back into the reservoir easier. I was thinking the filter wasn't allowing the water to drip through fast enough, but I put a brand new one in (name brand too) and it still did it. Well thanks again. Fingers crossed this last cleaning and set up works better.

You have to leave the filter submerged in the water for 10 minutes - says on the catit website 😊 I have no idea why. But I'm looking for videos to check I've put it together properly while I wait 😂

My cat loves her Catit water fountain. I have the green one in my kitchen for her and a cheaper smaller make that was bought first to use in my bedroom for her. Just ordered her the led blue one for in my bedroom. The Catit make are so easy to clean. Your cat is lovely 😊

My cat gets bottled water, because the tap water here is not good and even with a water softener it's still not ideal. There is one facet that is just well water, but I wouldn't be giving that to my cat. I really want to get a nice water fountain for him.
