Her intelligence, eliquence and natural talent made her answer well from any interviewers. A person like her comes once in a lifetime! Sometimes they did not compete in a beauty contest like Catriona did. So people will never recognized that they have existed.

These platforms are the things that Ms. Catriona focus on..and will not be different or changed in every guesting that she will make. I may have say , Australia did a big help on her as well as human being when she grown up. She adopt the culture and traits of Australian who are very open. She had been in schools where academically speaking gives her knowledge and skills. And Filipinos will surely be grateful to Share the celebration. However I couldn't agree more on being Filipino by heart and soul and a half blood. Australia and Scotland and Philippines had unite to build a world/universal class Filipina Beauty Queen.

What a great spokesperson. You’ll get hooked until the end without even noticing it’s already over. And she can attack the same questions from previous interviews differently. And that’s more enjoyable to watch with matching facial expressions in what she wants to convey. What can you ask for more from our new Miss U. She’s everything and just perfect!!!!

She can be a great Motivational Speaker after her reign as just one option of so many possibilities for her. Her world rather her Universe is an oyster! Never seen an MU Queen so extemporaneously witty and intelligent as Catriona and she expresses herself so animatedly with those beautiful eyes that speaks her thoughts in many subtle ways. After Pia, both Miss Universe Organization and the Philippines never had a better spokesperson for their brands as Catriona. One of the best if ever Miss Universe of all times. Just to add that my jaws dropped to the floor with a loud thud in awe of her oratorical prowess.

I just loved how Miss Universe Organization do a series of interviews through each delegate.. You can see how they choose is a very relevant person .. You can see and hear from each question how substantial, relatable and well spoken the new Miss Universe is. It's a very exciting pageantry of wits and looks. It's all about how well rounded a modern woman should be.. How a modern woman would pursue throughout her life and the one who would represent us women globally each year. This is the weight of a Miss Universe should be.

Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. is very strict in choosing our Philippine representatives. Even posing for the men's magazines are one of the reasons for you to be barred or your removal from joining Binibining Pilipinas.

Problem is the oligarchy in our country wants to keep the high economic gap and monopolized industries while the rest of the masses suffer. Majority of Filipinos do not understand Socialism that is why I am highly support Cat's advocacy of education which would enable Filipinos learn, understand and tackle the problem head on by getting rid of the factors that supress our progress.

Gotta say this has to be the best interview thus far during her Media Week! She's so real, and very "human" - no pretentions, you can tell. It's commendable how she acknowledges being multi faceted person, and her diverse background and upbringing (being Half-Pinoy, Half-Aussie growing up in PH and AUS, studying in US, etc.). It's a breathe of fresh air on how she got into the world of pageantry - through her advocacy first! Oftentimes, it's the other way. Her sincerity, character, substance, personality, compassion, intellect, and beauty just shines. I hope more people learn from this type of influential figure in this day and age - embracing who you are personally and culturally. Also, you can tell by the way she speaks, the merge of her Filipino and Australian influences (accent, slangs, etc.). There's nothing wrong with it. Well deserved recognition for her amazing work. @ajrakoni No... Australians are more of Pacific Islanders just like any other Asian neighbors they have. They were only colonized by the UK but the native people in Australia and New Zealand are more of Brown skin people not White. Same as with the Americans. Native Americans are not blondes? They're Red Indians. The US was also a colony of the UK a long time ago that is why Caucasians became so highly populated in the US.

Even if it's only one Filipino parent that a girl has and the other is a foreigner, that would still make the lady a Filipino and will automatically be eligible for dual citizenship. Why look for a pure Filipino if that girl is not into pageantry? The search for the next Miss Philippines in every year always gives a chance to all girls whether they're half Filipino or full blooded. It's just a matter of who should win! Unfortunately, in Catriona's batch, none of her competitors outperformed her.

Catriona really initiated of educating people about how pageantry can impact lives in different aspects. She made everyone in the industry learn that it can be used in such an important role specially in helping people and children. No one did that in the history but Catriona. Ps. I might be wrong but I am sure she's the only one who speaks a lot not just for glamour but also for platforms.
