Not at all true. Zozibini, Miss Universe 2019, is the most intelligent Miss Universe ever. Catriona is a romanticist which makes her and her speeches sound like metaphors. Zozibini is a realist, she looks at life in a profoundly actual sense, no shit, no pun and no pageant-patty intended. She can run a country with her powerful mind. By the way, pinoy ako.

I’m not expecting aspirant pageant winners to become Cat because everyone is unique. but i’m looking for the vibe or feeling. if that candidate can’t make me feel impressed and convinced as Cat effortlessly did here, hindi ako masyadong magkaka-kumpiyansa sa candidate na iyon na makuha yung korona. Cat is a very tough act to follow.
I am from India..and must say this girl is a Miss Universe for a reason...she speaks so smartly , making sense everytime ,not many can think and speak at the same time with such a relaxed body language..

Brilliance! Not all who represents M.U really had that brilliance! You can be good in English but the way how Catriona answers questions is just consistently good even on her other interviews abroad big or small she's so articulate, eloquent and graceful.

Because he said, "Catriona took a different route," and the guy who asked the question was laughing, which may sound insutling to Catriona. Catriona Gray bounces back by defending her answer and elaborating so that Tito Boy understands her point. When Tito Boy got her point, that's when he was speechless and moved on to the next question. Catriona knows how to answer well, and she also knows how to respond to those who sound shadey, sarcastic, and insulting. Period. 💯

can't get over with catriona., i've never been so interested to any other MU winners as i am to her. Been rewatching the MU 2018 pageant and her interviews, never gets me tired at all. God so eloquent, truly a beauty and brains. hats off to you girl. the only miss universe i got so caught up to.

Matalino talaga siya. Tapos sabi niya stubborn daw xa pero nakikinig talaga siya sa mga tips and suggestions. She's still the best candidate we ever sent to MU.
October 2021 and I am still rewatching this, still in awe! still fangirling over Queen Cat! 💛 the best ever! what a quick-witted, full of wisdom, eloquent and substantially inspiring woman. The reason why she became the best MU is because she chose to be independent and created her own team of which it allowed her to be creative in her own space.

Catriona's advantage is being a natural english speaking person that is why it is a lot easier for her to explain and get across her point of view, compared to homegrown queens who need to break the barrier from thinking filipino and translating it to english.

Second, laking probinsya ho yung tao, hindi pa sanay sa patakaran ng mga tao especially the ones working in the pageant industry in Manila. napakarami hong reasons let's just appreciate the effort she's provided kasi she did her best naman to represent US.
The part where she talked about why she does not talk much about politics, I think that's amazing especially that it was before the competition. She did not try to divide the nation and remained impartial.

She was rehearsed so well here aside from her innate wittiness when Boy Abunda suggested she must always go back to her experience and advocacy close to her heart when answering a question, and that's what she did.
