I am 65 yrs old and I listen to this EVERY day!!! Found them when I was singing glam n metal in the 80's n danced to them at the bar in my day job in Detroit, Michigan and they are one of the top five bands for songwriting, music writing, singing guitar and stage shows even bass and drums!!!!! Love them ever so, never get tired of listening to CIB!!!!!!,Attaboy, Joel and the boys!!!!! You are still top notch!!!!
Same here bro! Been into Metal since probably 83 or before as a really little kid and I just discovered this band yesterday!! And it’s a damn Rabbit Hole of Awesome bands that didn’t get the attention or play back in the day that I’m discovering nowadays!! Also check out McQueen Street!!
omg! my girlfriend just got me this cd (remastered 2008) for christmas! fkn awsome! i listened 2 this 20 years ago back in high school. these guys, hardline, saints & sinners... those were some gr8 bands i loved. the list goes on & on. hope joel does put out some music soon. that'd be 2 SWEET!!!
The hook in this song is one of those that just makes you want to smash your f*cking car into a wall at about 110mph! Truly does kick azz. Too bad these guys never got above the "mid range" of bands back in the day, as they obviously were a helluva lot more talented than a lot of the multi-platinum selling bands from back then.
Back In My days of Living Up to My Reputation I passed on this band They are Fkn Insanely Good. The Classic Cd Heavy Bones Is amazing as well. These Guys Rule...
@halovandal1 I like Mother Love Bone (Apple is a great album) but comparing them to bands like LA Guns, Faster Pussycat, etc is like comparing apples to oranges. And MLB didn't influence Pearl Jam, Pearl Jam actually was formed by members of MLB after their lead singer died of a heroin overdose.
Damn good stuff here. Jail/Jam O'Hashi has talent and this showed it off just as much as Seikima-II ever did. Hell of a screamer too on the mic, that man had a good set of lungs. Good work!
Never knew there was another video besides Shotgun Sally. I woulda went with Judas Kiss as a single instead of this but it's still a great to find this!
Ah Ahh-ow! Lay down your guns You got a fire in your eyes And your web is spun Mmm I feel your stare Burnin' out of control You'll get your kicks out there They won't crucify a dying soul Oh I'm not the one You should be lookin' for Yeah and I'm not the one Who's gonna give you more, yeah
@JoelEllis0220 so yes, I have 19 years and I have not seen or experienced anything of all this music from the 80's, and I am not the only one. That is another motivation for all these bands like cats in boots, for me, cats in boots is on top of the list! :D
Joel...I would love like hell to see you either get CIB or HEavy Bones back together. Both bands were fuckin awesome!!! I can't believe you guys got left by the wayside!! That is wrong in so many ways! You guys rocked!!!
Joel mentioned on his facebook to his fans that him and the drummer are trying to get a reunion going but Takashi isn't too vocal about doing a reunion. It be cool to have them get back together, all we have to do is ask and persuade Takashi to get back with the band and do one more CD and a tour. Joel said he has a record company in mond who can help him, he just needs Takashi to say yes. If you want a reunion, go on Takashi's FB page and demand it 'cause we NEED a CIB reunion.
@JoelEllis0220 That sounds fantastic Joel! Is the project still on? I've just written a review of your last album, you can find it if you searched for 'sleaze nation cats in boots'. Stay rocking, and all the best!
joe, just make sure the mastering is good and not mastered for the ipod and shit...has good dynamic range...some of us wants to be control of the volume knob
@JoelEllis0220 Hope you do. The music scene desperately needs you! I don't know when the last time it was I listened to the radio. I hate the stuff now.
This is one of those songs tha'll get ya a speeding ticket on the interstate if your not careful. As in, you'll find yourself doing about a buck ten while you bang your head as you cruise along...8>)
Oh Sweet seventeen Your home is on the street She got to feel the beat The night's her only cover Sprawled across the floor Screamin' out in horror Wakin' up to find Your high's your only lover Ow, huh! Oh!
She got a whole lotta monkey Whole lotta monkey on her back Ow! Desire my city child We know the world can wait There's no sympathy in your fate Mmm and I know it don't mean a God damn thing to you don't Understand what lit your fire Too late to break the chains I'm not your savior Just a hellbound angel Ow!
@JoelEllis0220 Dude you guys Fucking Rock! this stuff made my Teenage years Kickass! ONE MORE SONG! ONE MORE SONG! ONE MORE SONG! you get the hint LOL....Cheers Dude!
great band. a lil too late in an upcoming era when talent didnt matter. but not a copy of faster pussycat. wish they release a new album. hell maybe some old demos or some rejected tracks.Hey joel? What are the odds?
don't get me wrong..i'm a true sleaze lover..but Mother Love Bone..really?? They were one of the early alternative bands that influenced bands like pearl jam...how you can use them in the same breath as seahags, la guns, and junkyard and faster pussycat floors me!
true dat! but i also have to say the late sleazy 80's stuff also had some of the worst bands ever of all time that were popular not going to say any names though
@MissIndeterminate Go to Rock Candy Records website. You can but there remasted 24bit with extra inserts. i got it there. It sounds amazing!...if you like Badlands you can get those there too remastered 24bit.
Get what you want And then you get out Just get out, get, go on You get what you need You're comin' back for more, more, more, more, more She got a whole lotta monkey Whole lotta monkey on her back Oh no no She got a whole lotta monkey Whole lotta monkey on her back
