This makes sense as to why Bruce seems different. He is trying to be happy like his parents wanted and acknowledges that he doesn’t want to be alone. He actually wants some semblance of Happiness outside of Batman.
@@gamesmastertobi29 So wanting to be a good person for your girlfriend makes you a simp???? Admiting you have problems and being vulnerable makes you a simp???? It sounds like that's what you're saying.
@@goomba8170 Nope. Just those who who demean themselves and throw away their self respect for someone who would never do the same for them. Just look at this entire situation between Bruce and Selena. We literally see Bruce on his knees rubbing her feet, spending God knows how much on pure bred cats, and going out of his way to make her happy, and all she does is belittle him. All he wants is a little attention. He says so in the song. Loving your girlfriend is one thing. This is entirely different.
One of the main things I like about this song is that it showcases the two different perspectives about relationships. Some do want that relationship/companionship and others prefer being alone. Nothing wrong with either.
True, there's nothing wrong with either, the problem happens when you get these two people together (like in this case) cuz one will not understand the other's feelings.
Going to start sending this song to guys who try to ask me out to get their reaction. I'm basically exactly like catwoman and constantly trying to explain to guys the whole "I like to be alone" thing while they blindly list all this stuff I don't really want to do most of the time.
If I had a nickel for every time the Music Meister acted as a relationship counselor… I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.
I like how Batman says he doesn’t want to be alone because he gives of that dark loner attitude but deep down he is still that scared little boy not wanting to be left alone
This version of batman has been one of my favorite. Definetly shows his weaker side but they also handled it well in not making him overly pathetic. He shows growth towards the end of this season and next season he gets his confidence back. I hope he shows more progress in the next season. S
Kinda makes his fate in Batman Beyond more depressing since he loses the closest thing to a family he had and even lost the family company before Terry gave him purpose again
I love this shows unique portrayals of already known characters in this franchise. We all know the dark brooding serious Batman and lots of portrayals of him never go beyond that. It’s so boring and unimaginative. This show is amazing at actually showing their human sides and exploring the characters in ways we never really get. Because Batman is human and relationships are part of being human. AND DOING IT IN SUCH A FUN WAY MIGHT I ADD!!!! Love it!
It's kind of interesting that both Bruce and Selina basically personify their respective alter-egos: Though he says he chose bats because he wanted a symbol that would strike fear in the hearts of the criminals he pursued. He claims that he "works better alone" and he's "not a team player", the irony is that the vast majority of bats are social creatures! Selina, on the other hand, is the epitome of a cat; she comes and goes, goes wherever, romances whomever, steals and does whatever she pleases, and generally won't tolerate anyone trying to change her.
I love how this show is low-key like the spiritual successor to Batman: The Brave and the Bold, just with a more overtly adult rating. It's got the same kind of lighthearted clever tone with riffing off of the DC mythos and having fun with the trends and archetypes of the genre. Brings back some of the VA's to reprise their roles and now we even get a reincarnation of Music Meister.
I like both MM from "Batman the Bravr and the Bold" and The Flash episode Duet. Which give the question, who VA of the musical couple therapy this time?
Well the show is more of a satire, almost like a parody, but somehow, this shows how would Bruce Wayne would be in a relationship, let’s not forget he’s the guy who has a lot of money to change the city, but goes out at night to attack bad guys dressed up in a bat costume, and on the way, he trains other children to do the same, all because he wants to repress his loneliness issues, which paradoxical with his “desire” of working alone. He wants to be alone, but at the same time craves to have someone to be with.
This pretty much this show version of Batman and Catwoman marriage from the comics. Even if this version Bruce is different , the show still get the point across that Catwoman knows they have very different wants/needs and she almost always calls a quit in the end ,no matter how much Bruce opens up and be vulnerable.
I think the pacing of the BatCat relationship, was oddly mishandled. There needed to have been more scenes with them together first. But hopefully Selina will loosen up, so that the romance can be explored more.
That’s cuz in every DC universe Bruce and Selina always get together, but I guess in this show they wanted to show Bruce’s clinginess and Selina being a lone-wolf but maybe they will have more moments later on
Hopefully Batman and Catwoman will get back together with the help of Harley and Ivy. Harley could show Batman not to be too clingy and Ivy could show Catwoman that in order to be happy, you need to have people who love you.
Music meister in Brave and The Bold, took over the entire world with just his music, without causing any damage or deaths, its like he created world peace in one day with just his abilities 💀
I was wondering why I like this scene too much. It simply has such nice cinematography. For starters it has a nice YMCA palette and then it has these small details like Selina sliding away from Bruce when her face is focused, while Bruce slides to Selina when he is the one on focus. The soul music being makes it even better. Very nice scene.
So, does this means Huntress being Helena Wayne (canon Elseworld BatXCat offspring transported to the mainline comic timeline under a different name, because the Bruce & Selina of the main DC Universe would have their minds blown to find out that she's their daughter from an alternate reality) will be animated canon, then?
"this is not batman" Mf this is a comedy show, everything it's a parody, stop acting like everything has to be serious and at least try to enjoy or don't watch it.
Alright the fact that they're paralyzed yet summoned enough strength to touch each other when they're scared was cute af. Considering her fierce independence its endearing that for whatever reason, Bruce brings out a softer part of herself.
Have you considered that maybe that's part of the problem? She likes having him around, but constantly acts uninterested in him, so when she needs some time to himself, he starts to worry she's finally lost interest, so he acts clingy, which puts her off spending more time with him, etc.
I think the real issue between Batman and Catwoman is this: Bruce is into Catwoman because he finally found someone he can relate to (rare for him) and wants to have that in his life, but can't accept her values. Catwoman respects Batman and is attracted but has too much beef with his social standing in society and also her deep-seated trust issues towards men in general. The tragedy is that they'd make a great pair but can't grow past their reservations.
Someone should tell Bruce 🎶If you want to be happy living a king's life Never make a pretty woman your wife If you want to be happy living a king's life Never make a pretty woman your wife Now all you have to do is just what I say And then you may be jolly, merry and gay Therefore, from a logical point of view Better marry a woman uglier than you 🎶
This was everything!! Between this and Swamp Thing I loved this episode's takes on everything. SuperBat is still my OTP but I love this musical twist on BatCat.
Selina is so full of BS. If she wanted to alone so badly, she'd be a hermit and not even look Bruce's direction. She's just a brat. Wants all her personal space and to string someone along and not give back anything. All take, no give.
The entire show has Harley humiliating herself a lot, also the entire episode was Nora humiliating herself, there's also Batgirl being a cringe teenager. It's clearly that you don't watch the show, you just some nerd who likes to complain about everything with women, and about "batman being destroyed" even though the show isn't supposed to be comic accurate, but to be a satire.
What about the massive glow-up it gave Freeze and Kite-man? The male heroes (or to be frank, the heroes generally), get shaded on a lot, but there are plenty of male characters in the show that are actually portrayed in an extremely mature and positive light when you probably wouldn't expect them to.
@@mosisusasu9205 the agent of chaos, gotham clown and the biggest villain in dc, the one incapable of have feelings for anyone, has become a family guy. Batman, one of the 3 most important superheroes of DC and of the world, the dark knight, has become a fragile guy, submissive in relationship, and emotionally dependent, if this is "positive" for you, then you don't know these characters, and you don't like them for who they are, surely you wouldn't like to see Harley Quinn being portrayed like the Joker or Batman in this show, anyway, the hypocrisy
After listening to this song, I can't stop thinking about Blitzo and Stolas singing a song like this as a duet! Also, I wonder how Blitzo's singing voice would sound like!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I was …not prepared to hear Bruce to sing . Like damn that was offkey😂 .It was hilarious but it a little bit hard to hear . It’s cool that they allowed the original voice actors to actually sing to keep it more real to the characters
I relate to Catwoman here. I don’t wanna be tied down either. People are like a noise, sometimes it’s a nice distraction and other times it’s irritating.
It goes both ways. Pretty sure people feel the same about you. Especially someone who just wants to mess around like a stray cat and then get offended at being disrespected. You live on a planet of billions of people, best learn to play nice.
@@EmptyMan000 nah, I already see people as a disappointment. I expect most people to hurt me. That’s why they’re best used to scratch an itch and I keep my distance.
