Polygraphs are not scientifically sound, you can manipulate the test. Especially if you write your own questions and answer them after... In my country polygraphs aren't even allowed in court as evidence because of that.

Interesting story. While I am happy that in the end the OP finally did end the marriage, there was a huge amount of simpish behavior before the son's accident. I would not have called the hotel on the day of the accident. In fact, I would not have made any attempts to make contact with Lisa that day. The reason just as we saw in the story is the attention was taken away from the son and on Lisa. Only a foolish person does not see the wife is cheating. OP so badly wanted to stay with her and I thought maybe he just might, but when a woman strips away that thing of her that is only his and lets another man have it as well, the pain becomes unbearable. There’s a feeling of humiliation and emasculation that sets in and can’t be shaken. She’s knows how she’s hurt him, can’t take back what she gave another man that only belonged to her husband and thats the problem because they never think of the consequences of betrayal and getting caught. They all think they aren’t going to get caught, but then all of a sudden they do, then there’s that stung moment, all of a sudden the inevitable happens, and its that split second where they can’t backtrack, can’t make the misdeed disappear like it didn’t happen and they are caught like deer in the headlights, now reality is back in place and the irreparable damage is done. And now they have to quick try and figure out how they can save something they’ve killed (their marriage). And its so sad in a moment they have destroyed everything in the marriage, the family, let down her children, broken the hearts of husband, children, the childrens grandparents, everybody involved except for POS ass hole donnie who just put another notch on the headboard(hope he burns in hell).
