Customer comes into the shop and tries to sell me fake Jordans. My website www.tradingpostcrystallake.com/ My Ebay www.ebay.com/usr/pajatek1 Fan Mail or Visit my Shop Trading Post 7100 Teckler Blvd Crystal Lake IL 60014
"Paid 850 in vegas" honestly.i hope hes lyin because if he paid 850 in vegas some vegas guy ripped him. Its tough the fakes look real these days you have to pay attention
100% from DH gate. If you pay $150 you can get top tier replicas that are super hard to not pass unless you know what to look for. Those looked like $80 pair of Jordan off whites. That dude thought he could trick the man but come on you paid $900 but want that little because you allready have a pair? Dudes story was faker than the shoes 😂
This guy!!! I know exactly what store he’s lying about at the casino. They do sell used and vintage Nike, etc… however tennis shoes. HOWEVER, I didn’t see ANY toddler sized shoes in there like his! 🫵 =🤥w/ 👶 👟=🤏🏼=😂👋
Found this channel a few days ago. This is better than all the pawn shop shows on television. It’s actually genuine and real. No staged events. No sudden knowledge of the item. You see the research done. You see a real deal.
Partially why youtube is so amazing. It contains the best forensics, the best true crime, the best tourist videos, etc. People that are skilled and passionate but not constrained.
All television is staged and scripted. One way you know is that no one looks at the camera. IRL *everyone* looks at the camera. (I'm not talking about security cams.)
Not true for everyone, I do this everywhere even if I’m not selling anything. Just being asked a question I start to ramble on without answering the actual question as a habit and I’m not a scammer.
Agreed... when I've sold legit items, I'm usually standing there with the buyer trying to address any scrutiny they may have. This dude is like looking around and swagging around... somewhat detached from the sale.
Too many red flags, “I paid a lot for them… wore em once… I got another pair at home… I’ll take $250-200” Why buy them if you have a pair already? Why take such a big loss? Could you go any lower? “150?”
If the guy paid $900 for the Jordan Sneakers, and Pete told him that they appear to be fake, the dude's expected behavior should have been of someone who had been bamboozled and ready to go back to that store with his receipt. The dude was cool as a cucumber because he knew they were fake. His behavior betrayed him.
The fact he went from $900 shoe to taking $250. Then in less than 30 seconds he is ok with $150, is very telling. I agree he knows they are fake and wants to get rid of them. I wish there was another camera on the customer to see their body language. Or at least have a different angle to see them moving, fidgeting or what ever.
The customer appears to be a career criminal. This is how he hustles money into his pockets. The man is too streety to be bamboozled and taken advantage...Those shoes were probably stolen, and the customer got whatever he could get. He failed to realize that Pete is one of the biggest Hustlers he would ever want to strike a deal with... and is good at what he does. A hustler trying to hustle a hustler. 🤔.
It's amazing how ridiculous people can be. The guy with the shoes was pathetic, he didn't even try to convince you they are real every time he opened his mouth he caused another red flag to raise. "I paid $900 but you can get them for $250, because I don't need em". It's just amazing that someone could be that incredibly stupid to think anyone would believe him. Reminds me of the girl with the fake Louis Vuitton wallet; at least she attempted to look and sound legit. This guy didn't even try. Unreal!
@Unicc God yeah. those Jordans were wrong for a lot of reasons, none of which they gave. how about first thing, they are Jordan 1s, but the title of the video says 2s 🤔
I think he put on a racist white voice when he got mad too. I don't know why scammers get mad at you for catching their scam. I think scammers often have their conning attached to their ego. Like they partially do it because it makes their shitty selves feel superior to someone for a short moment of their life. So when you catch them it is like you are telling them that they are inferior to you. That they are pitiful. And that angers them.
They all just saunter in as if they couldn't give a shit but KNOW that their stuff is worth a hell of a lot of money when it's NOT !!! and they all know it too. Then walk out telling the man that it's HIS loss and their gain 'coz they weren't really looking to sell anyway. LOL.
@@unkaumanguy1439 Did you READ my comment ? If you are prepared to take HALF the value then sell it on the internet. It will sell immediately. WHY BOTHER TAKING HALF THE MONEY AND HAVING SOMEBODY ELSE DO IT ?
You have the best fans. When I heard “I diamond paint as a hobby” I did NOT expect that masterpiece! I actually laughed laughing absolute glee. What a talent!
Nah people don't usually sell stolen stuff in pairs, then call a third person to confirm the price. $100 would've been easy money. More likely they already tried to sell it and couldn't.
I was thinking Same . Seemed odd she called a connection to get approval for the sell ? They seem like junkies or maybe homeless . Clearly not in the up and up . She didn’t even question when he went from (there is a listing for $445 but I can only do $100) . I would have walked out. That watch was clearly over $500 new in my experience. It’s a bling attention grabber popular in hip hop culture . I see many for sale at Macys and even at fine watch stores in the SF Bay Area .
Right, the 1st couple was very likely fencing that watch for someone that took it on trade for some dope & they probably were gonna get a small fix for doing it. I see it happen all the time. Now iif the watch is stolen that young lady will go to jail for what would amount to $20 worth of dope. Hope it was worth it.
If someone paid $900 dollars for a big brand named shoes and ended up wearing them once then decided to sell them. There is no way someone would just ask for $200 dollars for the shoes they would try to get as much back they could.
The algorithm has brought your channel upon me, and I absolutely love every single second of your channel. I want more definitely subscribed and Jessica's art was unbelievable. You're very humble and down to earth. Very amazing work you do.
@@rpmevo8 You're right it's one thing if you don't respect your own stuff but don't come in the shop and practically break the counter tops. People like that dude rub me the wrong way.👍☮️
People like you and everyone else have got to be some of the most ignorant people I have met. The shoes were fake, but the reasons he gave were wrong. Go google the Offwhite Euro 1s. He doesn't even know WHAT JORDAN IT IS LOL. The foam is supposed to be exposed, the shoes come pre aged, the check is supposed to be deattached, the lettering is supposed to look like that. The only off thing was the price, so they for sure were fake cuz real these are 5-10k. Channel owner is a donut, and only ignorant people believe the bs he says.
Pete, after watching that first transaction I've concluded that you're an open, honest, straight shooting broker, who not only has your interest in mind, but more importantly you have the customers interest in mind as well.
The fact that he would leave the bottom of the shoes dirty is so confusing. All he has to do is clean them off and they’d look way better. He’s offering someone dirt for sale. Some people man.
A cynic would say she'll get a few orders out of this exposure. Not taking anything away from the gifting of it (If it was gifting)@@michaelharrison3602
He definitely knew they were fake 😂. He would’ve brought them to a sneaker store to sell if he knew they were real. Probably hoping he could get them past you. Good job 👍
Dude bought them off DHGate for $50, period! Some of the worst fakes there is but you get what you pay for. If you pay $50 for a pair of $700 shoes you gonna get $50 worth of legit-ness out of them
He wore them once. He put them on on Monday and took them off 3 weeks later. When people try to convince you so hard it's real, it has to make you wonder.
WOW the person jessica that made that, that is so nice of you. Its always tough gettin something as a present and opening it and i cant imagine on camera to be nice and give a good reaction but how could you not love that. Esp. being his animals thats just incredible.
@@hatednycwell, he didn’t know anything about the shoes but he still came to the right conclusion anyway lol. Problem is if someone brought him a legit pair he would’ve turned them away too ( although idk who would bring a pair of $3,000 Jordan 1s to a pawn shop)
Idk if y’all know what diamond paintings are, but they’re 2mm rhinestones you adhere similar to paint by number style- and it’s very therapeutic but even a 8”x11” sheet can take hours. I’m so impressed by that! What a laborious gift of love and appreciation!!! 😮❤
Watched this show a few times and figured out this dudes formula, he looks up what you got on eBay and offers you half! He always has to make double his money back . People should just count on this offer going in, then it wouldn’t waste your time.
That Diamond painting! Wow an amazing gift! (Personally I think it should be lower on the wall where the light can capture it, and the rising heat has less chance of effecting the glue.) So beautiful.
Not necessarily. He could of been taken advantage of and not known it and just really needed the cash. He probably figured if his dumb ass paid 900 for them, hopefully he can get at least $150 now and some other dumb ass can get a steal at $300?
Good move on the jordans. The box was wrong and nobody is selling jordan 1 offwhites for 150$ lol 😂. Great sneaker but was happy that you looked at them close!
Love your furry and feathery babies! And what a fabulous painting! I don't think I could last one day in there-- I don't know near enough about those things to make the right decisions! Thank you for posting.
9:38 I love the look given to the camera after the shoe scammer walked out the door. no words said but we all know what Pete was thinking. beautiful mural btw
Mr fisherman needs to lay off the meth pipe…. And yes he definitely got insulted lmaooo! What a chump. I would’ve offered him 50 bux for that junk if that.
That guy with the fishing equipment was a wreck man was he an ever annoying personality type. He made me nervous and rattled just looking at him. What was he doing selling his fishing equipment for anyway.... feeding a drug habit????
@@roguedolphin and if he was a drug addict he would've took whatever money he could. Period. So move td around with the only people that come there are drug users
@@lilmari530 Well obviously but no like "Oh my bad bro It's really heavy for me" or "Hey this is heavy is this counter strong enough for me to put it on"... its all the silent rudeness of no acknowledgment is what does it for me
I'm simply grateful for the kindness and joy you & your team bring to the world. I've been following for quite a awhile, and I'm glad I found your channel. Joseph
That poster Jessica made is amazing! My goofy parrot is taking a nap on my chest as I watch this video, the cat avoids her at all costs for obvious reasons, lol. It’s weird how the parrot will connect with one person, it’s like I’m her pet. Mine is potty trained, she tells me when she’s hungry and calls me when I leave the room.
That's so cool. I feel the same way about your channel. I really enjoy it. If I'm ever anywhere close to your business, I plan on stopping by. I too love animals and appreciate how much you care for yours. Thanks for the great content.
As soon as you pulled the Off Whites out the box, I let out an uncontrolled, “Fake As Fxck” 🤣🤣🤣 those ankle straps are so thin it’s insulting he thought he could get them off
