I did laps around my kitchen for the last straight 48 hours as walking takes the pain from 100% to 95% trying every known method, while waiting to see the dentist this morning. It was an actual hell, so much pain I was sweating, just brutal, relentlessness. Saw the dentist today, on antibiotics and just 10 T3s before I can get the root canal. You can't even focus on a show or video game, the pain is just a relentless fuck. Hope all of you don't have it this bad.

Been in severe pain all night, aside from pain killers what just really helped was: 1. Salt water, hold in mouth for about 30 seconds, repeat every few minutes, do this about 5 times 2. Ice pack wrapped in a towel for the outside of the face, lightly hold on the affected area where the tooth is 3. Ice cube - hold an ice cube in the mouth and use your tongue to hold it near the gum/teeth where the pain is, take it out intermittently or let it melt down all the way, whatever is most comfortable. Repeat with a new ice cube every 5 minutes or so. This was really effective, it reduced the swelling of the pulp inside the tooth it seems so gives a great relief as it’s not as pressured up against the hard casing of the tooth 4. Peppermint tea - let it cool down to pretty much room temperature, then swill it in the mouth a little before swallowing each mouthful After about 20 minutes of this the toothache has pretty much fully subsided, it quickly numbs the pain but it definitely seems to have a prolonged impact Hopefully I can sleep now! Hope you get that relief soon! Awful pain

My toothache would not go away I was crying! Only thing I felt helped was taking a cold shower and just standing in there a while letting water run in my mouth. I was in there for more than an hour!

To all the people who was in pain right now, and can’t go see a dentist. You can always go to urgent care or to your doctor. They can prescribe you some pain medication and some antibiotics until you can get to a dentist.

never felt so much pain in my life honesty this is from someone who had a motorcycle accident broke my ribs my arm damaged my spine to the point i had to re learn to walk that seems like a little paper cut compared to this the hole right side of my face is aching almost feels like an ear infection pain killers dont work i tried smoking weed that didnt work i havnt slept in 4 days barely eaten as well

I just lost my insurance last week and of course this is the first time in 20 years that I'm bed ridden bc of this tooth that is cracked and don't have the $2000 to get the proper work done. I'm actually scared bc I know how bad it can get!

I'm scared of dentists since a neighbour had wrongly extracted a healthy tooth instead of the decaying one.

i am glad my parents immigrated to australia and not America, we have free universal health care here, i had infected teeth that could have killed me, i was totally fatigued and could not get up off the couch, i would come good after a few days but it would come back and lucky i had tooth pain as well, in australia you can always go to the dental hospital to have basic or emergency dental work done, when the dentist pulled these two teeth out they had grey spots on them from the infection, the infection was the source of my illness, the infection gets into your blood and causes sepsis and kills you. i would have died if my teeth were not aching forcing me to have them looked at by a dentist who could see they were infected as there was a pimple on the gum where the infection releases puss, although i did not know what this pimple looking thing was. if i did not have teeth pain the illness would have got worse and i would have died, it would have been unlikely they would have suspected a tooth infection and sepsis, and i would not have gone to the doctor until it would have been to late, but the tooth pain saved my life, not everyone has tooth pain, many just die from sepsis, which is blood poisoning, and they die very quickly, often over night !!! don't mess with infected teeth, get them checked out by a professional as soon as possible, and you would be wise to heed my advice if you suspect infected teeth !!!

I have a cracked tooth and it hurts when i put pressure on it and my bottom lip on the right side feels tingly/numb. It feels weird

I’m having the worst toothache and my appointment is in 4 weeks. I had a hole in my tooth which reached my nerves filled the hole up but it still hurts really bad, I’ve tried everything from Clove oil to pills. I can’t sleep, eat or focus in school because of the pain. My dentist is on holiday right now but I seriously can’t last 4 weeks with this pain. Any advice?

I've had kidney stones and right now I am suffering from an extreme toothache that has the whole right side of my face and head throbbing incessantly. It is radiating from my jaw. I have tried every "remedy" I could find on you tube and google they are all a joke when dealing with this type of agony. I'd rather just lose the tooth that deal with this. Not a second of rest.

Now I'm more mad cuz i can't afford medical care for my teeth at the moment! I know something would change in the near future for the best but now I'm just mad and crying in pain!

I had severe tooth pain I used oragel for month and it worked great. I kept applying .. I just got my root canal today with no pain during the treatment I feel so much better!

For tooth pain i use Flexon tablets and Augmenttin 625 tablet daily 2 tabs after meals and salt water for mouth wash good for 3 days

I don't know whats worse, a bottom tooth infection or one on the top. The one on the top goes into your brain and causes you to have a stroke. The bottom tooth you get bad infections and stomach and kidney infections

ok after punching wood I called My friend who son I coached his wife is a dentist. I could not believe it but this helped!! she said two Tylenol and two alieve ( 2 acetaminophen and two ibuprofen ) over the counter bc no insurance 😢 it actually helped reduce the pain after 15 to 20 minutes could not believe it. hope this helps!! also Asked the lord Jesus to help even though the pain was all caused by me...

Guys top tip worked for me drink ice cold milk shake. Wait 1 min after first few gulps. The pain will hit. Then finish rest of pint glass. Then sit down for 3 min you’ll feel pain start to ease. If this doesn’t work for you ice pack directly to jaw for 5 min. Although the pain is already there the ice cold milk draws it out the pain. Remember your first min will feel like hell. But after another min you’ll feel pain start to ease

Hold cold ass water in your mouth where it's sore or just run your mouth under the tap w cold ass water lmaoooo only thing that help no medication works ffs
