When it hurts super bad like a 9 or 10 I run to the bathroom brush my teeth and floss to add a little pain to reduce the other. I spent $150 just to find out I have to have a root canal with another dentist that will cost $1,500 also I am supposed to fill out a CareCredit application wait for that no telling how long it will take or if. So much pain I can't concentrate on what to do next I don't have the money and this may become a medical problem.. I'm a veteran but my benefits are not covered for dental. Also disabled from a broken back so my only income is a disability check every month...I'm so f#%*ed.

@@4.taraxiaa That was a week ago, I went back to that dentist first thing the next morning, he had a look for inflammation, but saw none and said it's quite normal to have after pain during root canal work, but a week later my tooth still aches, not as bad but it's still there and I dare not eat on that side in case it'll flare up again, my next and last treatment is not until the 17 June, I can only hope and pray it improves by then and is finally cured after the next treatment next month

@Jarred nooo bro I’m saying I lost a tooth because of how the filling was done really poorly, when the dentist asked if I wanted the other 2 done now (on the other side of my mouth) I said no I’ll get it done next time (there was no next time) and what do you know those teeth are fine, I stopped eating as much candy and sweets changed my diet got some better toothpaste, a non abrasive toothbrush and my teeth feel a lot stronger and better now. But yeah thanks to that guy I have a very bad fear of dentists now

I feel you bro, my toothe pain so shockingly severe. It was manageable with ibuprofen at first, and then the pain went away and now, at about a month or so later the pain has become absolutely completely unbearable, like full on 911 Medical Emergency raging paralyzing debilitating pain. My tooth is decaying rapidly, the back tooth that is causing this pain is in a late-stage (Stage III or Stage IV) decay point where literally half the tooth is white and the other half is gone and black, exposing my nerves completely. I could barely work when it started this time! The entire work day I literally had to constantly have cold water in my mouth, to numb the pain. Then after a few minutes the water would get warm again and the pain would return. Can only imagine how panicked I felt when I ran out of cold water to drink, couldn't believe I made it to the end of the work day. Went to Walgreens and bought some Orajel for Toothache Analgesic & Astringent Rinse, which is actually non-numbing, and works much better than tue Orajel numbing benzocaine liquid. (For those interested it comes in a white 16 FL Oz bottle for $10 at Walgreens). That is the only thing that is working until I see a dentist asap asap.

The shots don't hurt me too bad except the one in the roof of the mouth. It's like stepping on a leggo with the tight skin on the bottom of your foot but 10 times worse. Than 100 times worse when they inject the fluid. That's why I go to the emergency dentist who put me to sleep because the shot in the roof of the mouth hurts even worse than the tooth pain which is hard to believe
