This was the most helpful video I’ve ever come across on this topic and the most informative and accurate. I’ve suffered so badly with fibroids since the age of 25. I’m now 42, and it has cost me so much in my life. I did break down into an awful sob from my soul when you mentioned the part about childhood trauma and feeling unsafe. I’ve felt like that my most of my life. Thank you for that! I refuse to do surgery and because of this video it’s given me great insight. Once again, thank you!❤
Knowledge…that’s what you give us with every video. I love your channel. Even if some topics are not applicable to me, I always learn more and more and I take this knowledge to help other women like my daughter and sisters. Thank you!
Dear Dr Salcedo, thanks for your educational work! Would it be possible in one of your videos to discuss relationships between female hormone levels and insulin, and even hypothyroidism. Thanks again! 😊
Hello!! Thank you for your comment! I dont know too much about Endovan, is it a radio frequency ablative technique? I do know of a surgical technique that uses radio waves to shrink fibroids. I think it is a great method for those interested in a surgical option!
@@consciousgynecologist It’s a pill, used to call Fibrovan and it changed the name to Endovan. I read a lot of good review in regards to female with uterine fibroids and endometriosis
@@JOONIE-999 wow! thank you! There are so many interesting supplements out there. This one appears to work by reducing the fibrin products that cause the formation of uterine fibroids. I think it could help some people, but if we dont treat the cause, i.e. the source of the inflammation, some women may never get relief. The challenge is trying to figure out what a person's inflammation source is. That is where very focused assessment and evaluation is KEY!
When I treat patients with endometriosis, i FOR SURE tell them a gluten free diet can help. I see that avoidance of seed oils (vegetable oil, grapeseed oil, canola oil) and a ketogenic diet helps tremendously.
@consciousgynecologist I have uterine fibroids and I have been eating gluten-free for a year and a half and I'm not sure if it's been helpful. I have also been a pescatarian and dairy-free for the last 4 years and I don't feel like it's been helpful either. Any advice for me?
