I didn't think Woodinville was terrible. Their basic bottle may be a bit thin, but the flavor was nice. The 8 year was good, but too steep. Didn't care for the moscatel finish. But I have had a couple of single barrels from them that were awesome.
Maybe it's because I just came back from New Riff but the 6 yr malted rye from New Riff is excellent. At the distillery it retails at $67.99 and Cavalier Wine & Spirits is selling it for $1 more. It's 50% ABV so it might satisfy your proof houndness( not sure if that is a word but I didn't feel comfortable calling you a proof whore). Nice change of pace for your video. Shout out to Deb for not smacking you for your marriage advice!
