They're doing part of their warm up program for the Summer Symposium students :) If you see one of them get out..it's probably on purpose because they wanted to show us how to get back in quickly and succesfully.
I flew from Cali to IL just to be in the cavies in 1985 or 86. We took 2nd behind the Scouts. My friend Ben called me and said, "hey we have a spot open..u wanna come..I said hell ya." They flew me out that weekend. Had the greatest memories. Shout out To Danny, Gaurd captain and his family. Remember the "red eye" lol. I remember being taught how to make my 1st snow ball..Haven't been to a show since that time..life went on for me. figure 8 warm ups.I remember. Johnnie Chatman, San Jose, Cali
O . O *faints from sheer amazement* OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I knew that many guys who did CG!!!!!!! In my area, you'd have to combine all of the guys who did CG at like 10 schools from the past 10 years just to equal the 2008 cavie color guard
@DoYouLykeTacos Since they're not affiliated with any schools or institutions, they don't have that problem. People from all over the world try out for the Cavaliers (and other top drum corps as well).
Ew just dont point me out THATS FINE! i only was at EVERY REHEARSAL AND CHOREOGRAPHED ALL THE EQUIPMENT...AND THE STAGING but thats fine, i mean i only came up with the show...but BRADY lol (love you b)
@ShadowArceus5 we had four guys this year including me but next year were probably only going to have two guys for both fall colorguard and winterguard...its a lot of fun C=
That is unfair. If there is a guy at your school that wants to do color guard, he should not be denied to do it because he's a male. He should fight it. I did color guard in my high school and it was a private high school of all things. He already has a bad image for the fact he doesn't let men on guard. Color guard after all stems off from the military.
