Cavatappi with Asparagus and Spinach Pesto

I love this dish in the spring with all the bright, fresh vegetables just appearing in my garden! Pesto doesn't have to be made only with herbs - greens, such as baby kale or arugula, also work great. I like to combine them with one or two fresh herbs for a bright and balanced flavor. I also like to use different nuts in my pesto, sometimes pine nuts, sometimes almonds, sometimes walnuts; here I use pistachios. Buon Appetito!

Loved the video and will make the pesto. I was very sad to see that you dedicated the video in memory of “grandma”. I hadn’t known she passed away😔. I’ll miss her sweet face and joyful singing.

I tried yesterdays Spaghetti Caruso last night....it was wonderful. But next time I'll use a different pasta that holds the sauce better.... maybe Rigatoni...or shells. Thanks again, Lidia.

Love that you dedicated the video with your mom singing in her loving memory. So sad to lose our mothers. May she rest in peace. I too lost my mother recently and this brought me to tears. So beautiful. God bless.
