I never understood the “at least they died doing what they loved” thing. For one, you don’t die from “cave diving”….you die from drowning, and my guess is that not too many people who enjoy drowning.

The fact that there is a spot on the map labeled Mount Doom would be the first and only indicator that I would not be going anywhere near😂😂

Your channel is really cool. I feel like if there are this many disasters, maybe people should take it as a hint not to go cave diving 😂 I look forward to watching your channel grow!

Well I must say that it’s one of those rare cases featured in a video such as this one…where instead of a diver perishing because they were either I’ll prepared, lacked the proper training or even that they were truly unaware of the dangers. Or they are experienced but they just made either one big or many small bad decisions/mistakes that doomed them. I mean like yea…he did go in the wrong place and ascended too quick which caused the air embolism that ultimately killed him. But imo it isn’t truly the same as the things I listed above. As he was having a medical emergency that was not due to anything that he did wrong. He didn’t run out of air, wasn’t reckless, he was just an experienced diver who did everything right prior to his sudden medical emergency and anything he did after that point was certainly not a conscience decision imo It’s just really shitty that it happened while in a freaking underwater maze and not while on dry land with people close by that could help him 🥺🤦‍♀️

“We can appreciate divers dying doing what they love, something not everyone can say they experienced -“ 😅 of course NOONE can say they experienced dying doing what they loved because they’re dead ☠️

Yeah, never got the “at least they died doing what they loved” trope. For one thing, my guess is that very few enjoy drowning, which is what the people unfortunately die from.

This might be a dumb question BUT. Are the clips of these divers underwater from the story being told?

If I had the choice of dying in middle age doing something I loved or living a full life span, I'm going for the long haul. Life is worth living. I'm an avid diver, I don't go below 60' and stay out of caves.

“An outrageous flow of water that cannot be described.” Come on. Give it a go, or your teacher, Mrs. Thistlebottom, might make you rewrite the whole essay. She always shrieking, “Imagination, boys and girls!” 😊

Applebottom was quite a ball buster. A bit of a knuckle raptor as well. A real prehistoric digit demon. The woman was a wicked enemy of student fingers and lack of creative thought.

Since you are profiting off of some cave divers demise, it would be really nice if you gave credit to the cave divers whose footage you have used here. After all, you spent the time finding such footage and it would not be much more effort to give credit. I recognize many of the shots in this video and am actually in some of it. Some of the artists whose work is being displayed here were friends with Marson. Although you may not be violating any rules regarding copyrights as is stated in your description, you should give credit to those that did the hardest work. Without it, you would not have any content. Please be a decent human being and not complete taker and user.

Sounds like this one could have happened in open water as it was embolism from going up too fast not so much the cave.

how do you avoid drowning to death when you gargle mouthwash. Exactly the same. If they get water in their mouth they just spit it out and keep breathing air. If you swim underwater and then open your mouth what happens? Do you drown? Nope.
