A fucking masterpiece this album just keeps getting better I’ve jammed it so many fucking times and it’s so gnarly to get this inside look at it’s inception and the creative vision that went into its songwriting I’m aghast…thank you…the closing track does it to me every time mannnn goosebumps eyes welled to the maxxxxx those layered harmonies on the guitars at the end melt me into oblivion album of an era top notch I love this album
Best band on Relapse in a long time. You have to wade through all the MtV-"metal" and hipster crap to get to them, but when you finally do, it was worth it.
You realize these kids aren’t new right? If you don’t…..equally cool. I just can’t remember wading through MTV crap for well over 20 years and hipster stuff mostly consisted of ehhh Neutral Milk Hotel, Belle & Sebastian or Elliott Smith (rest in peace neighbor…. It’s not your fault the hipsters latch on and feel all your pain but don’t touch meth….faux Emo douchebaggery) Probably the worst comment ever posted. Relapse has a Pennsylvania problem…..talent is often West. They have Portland’s Red Fang though right? That’s something… I agree with your initial comment….I’m just confused by what follows….listen to Jupiter Antenna and Until Your Heart Stops if you haven’t. I have to go figure out what’s wrong with me. 🤘🏻
