The problem with the Celtics is that they might be too good for ownership to realize Mazulla is trash and they'll keep him on. Watching the West games and then tuning into Celtics it blows my mind how many possessions are just "chuck up shot". They are lucky to be in the East.

I thought it was b/c of All-NBA being tied to $30+ million pay difference for guys. In 2016 when AD missed out on $24.8m I think there was some quote from him joking about how a player could buy a nice vehicle for every voter and come out ahead. I'm not sure on that quote, didn't find it in a search to verify.

Since D mitch has been a Cav. Boston and Cleveland have had 7 head to head matchups the Cavs won 4 of them. The Cavs arent scared of the Celtics and have played them tough if you look at the history. I am just waiting for the rest of the media to realize that the Cavs are truly built to beat the Celtics. Matchups make fights and this is just a bad matchup for the Celtics. People think the first win was luck wait until after tonight.

It literally was the same thing last year with the Cavs the odds makers favorited the Cavs to beat the Knicks I knew they would not win that series New York has beat up on the Cavs for the last 2 years so them losing 4-1 in that series was no surprise. Again the Knicks are a terrible matchup for the Cavs. Just like the Celtics dont matchup well with Cavs who have given the Celtics all kinds of trouble over the last 2 years.

The fact is that Vogel wasn't the reason they lost. Vogel won a chip in 2020. Bud won a chip in 2021. Who else are you going to hire? Adrian Griffin? Some first time coach? More teams should stick with their coaches, because changing coaches is just PR.
