Excellent program and interesting details on incorporating treatments during the initial build process.

Building low frequency management into the walls is the best approach for surface area covergae requirements along with increased performance.

So you would not be installing drywall over the carbon panels ?
@AcousticFields
@AcousticFields 2 года назад
We do not use drywall in any of our builds. Drywall has a negative impact on middle range frequencies. Our room "skin" is usually cherry plywood.

How would a BDA function if instead of a fill material, a vacuum was created inside the cabinet?
@AcousticFields
@AcousticFields 2 года назад
A "vacuum" of sort is created inside of our cabinets using our carbon technology. The pressure inside the cabinet is lower than the pressure outside the cabinet. Though not a true vacuum, the lowering of internal cabinet pressure, along with the cabinet depth produces the rate and level of absorption achieved by our technology.

I'm curious. If one lives in another state... do you partner with others to do this kind a work to your exact specifications. This is definitely not something I have the skill set to do...and I wouldn't know where to start to find someone who is qualified. I wouldnt expect any ol handyman having much respect for audiophile room treatment/builds.

All of our treatment and noise designs can be achieved using standard construction methodologies. There is nothing esoteric or exotic. I have designed all technologies, along with their associated acoustic goals, to have standard construction material types and construction techniques. All you have to do is furnish the labor.

interested. But im a renter 😭

You will have to use freestanding units instead of the CAW. Rememenber in small room acoustics, its all about having enough surface area coverage to treat each wall and their individual frequency and amplitude issues.

Its the correct way when you plan & want to build a room. I'm 100% sure that a room build with all you modules are sounding awesome, but these are only for the rich People. Even to have the opportunity to have an house with big room like this.

Not true. We offer DIY products where you contribute your labor to our materials and plans.

@@AcousticFields For an Owner of Machines for Woodwork yes, but when youve also paid others for cutting all these (with actual wood prices) i think your in the same price range or ?!

Who wouldn't want predictability? I know I would.

Be careful using common sense when it comes to small room acoustics. There is not much of that around.
