Hi there it's me cliff again I use to work for this company at Birtley northeast I got the job only because A .one leeds whent bust and the transport manger put a word in for me I loved the job it uest to do a lot of hevey mercheens buldoser and tippers bodies extra wide for export we would be in convoy down south and change over loads and trailer most of the loads when abroad I never got that job but like most of the job I had never lasted I was there for a year are so but they closed it it was really good money I still do not no why these companies were kept closing I mean look at haulage and how meny close I have had about four close on me it is really sad eney way I do not no ware you are getting all of these haulage cumpenies but as a fellow life long tucker you are doing a good job I no I have had a lot of jobs its just the way it was them days all I ever wanted is just to work for one company sorry for going on but thank you for your work

Hi I no I have already committed but it was in Birtley I lived in Washington and it was a hard firm to get a job with but they need experience and I had done a lot of steel and long trailer's I had one of them magirus deutsch it was a nice truck and it had a night heater not known them days and we would go down to Alconbury and swap trailer they had night shift if you wanted that I had a few nights out at the time the lorry's ware top notch I remember when they give me a lorry we weren't used to foreign lorries

I worked for a few years on a night flyer out of Skelmeresdale to Birtley with an F86. Usually 20 tonne each way. One of the best companies to work for IMO. They looked after the drivers and social events were arranged 2 or 3 times a year. I enjoyed my time there.
