I am into a complete overhaul of a 1970 cb350E....That's right an E on the engine.......upgrading to a m-unit basic and electronic ignition system with a custom wiring harness. Currently about 85% done...ready to wire bike......I have watched you many times in the past....Repetitive removal....fast forward.....decision making...full enchilada, system install...again full enchilada, talking about business model.....now and then Thanks for your videos

Just bought a '78 CB750K this past weekend. It's my first motorcycle. Surprise, the bike needs more work than previous owner said ("runs and rides great"), so I've got alot of it apart and plenty of goodies on the way! Discovered your channel because of all this. Great stuff!

Hey man! Writing to you from Montreal, Canada and I am just about to take my 78' cb550 apart after a crash this summer. Slid into an F150's front right wheel (in a tight curve). Not hurt to badly, but the bike has some obvious damage and I want to make sure the frame is intact (straight and otherwise) and then start to rebuild into a true cafe racer. I bought a 76' cb750 Supersport to keep riding and so now I'm free to take my time and rebuild the cb550 properly. This video (as all the rest of your videos) are a HUGE help! Thanks a lot bro!

@Classic Octane in a video you made a while back "have a beer with classic octane" you mentioned that you still have your first bike a cb360 (up against the house or shop?) and that is one bike we have yet to see on your channel I think it would be a really great addition to the content you have already provided us with, as well as I just got a cb360t and got it running after it sat for 8 years and took it for its first ride and there's alot I would like to do with it very similar to your other builds I'm leaning towards the style that the KZ750 was built (tracker?), all and all I think it would be valuable content and maybe a fun project that you can reflect upon as it shows how far your knowledge of motorcycles has come since you first got the project

Keep those boots and make a rejuvenating concoction and give them back to the customer, theres a mix of wintergreen oil you must have!!! I mix AT-205 and wintergreen oil, I drop the rubber in hot water then rub it down with the mix it adds plasticizers back and can make em new

It would be nice for a change that you use a 2 into 2 exhaust with 2 up-sweep revers cone muffler. I always find that it looks more balance to have one muffler on each side of the bike. Great job. René from Canada.

I always enjoy your videos, Tayler. Question for you: I have a 1975 Honda CB750 that's running fine and not currently giving me any problems. I replaced the coils and the points with Dyna coils and electronic ignition a while ago. Would it be a good idea to put a new wiring harness in the bike and get rid of those 45 year old wires? I've been tempted to buy a new harness on 4into1 and just do it. Part of me likes to do stuff like so I can learn how to do it. There's the "If it ain't broke don't fix it" school of thought, but as someone who's trying to learn all of this stuff I don't really subscribe to that philosophy.

Btw. When are you gonna get a paint gun? I "hate" that you do all the nice jobs with all the bikes and then you paint them with 1k paint from a rattle can and sometimes 2k. All the frame painting etc. Would be easier with a small (even with a cheap harbour freight paint gun) gun and you wouldn't need to play with those cans and be afraid of splatter from the nozzles
