Finally getting to install the rear 5 lug and disc brake conversion. I went through removing the rear suspension and swapped everything over to the new disc/5 lug setup. After swapping everything over I adjusted my ride height and lifted it because I'm upping my wheel size to a 17".
Since there is a lot of content to fit into one video I split the rear and front into two different videos. Next will be the front conversion where I get the big brakes installed and we get to see the new wheels on the CB7.

Cb7s dont and I repeat dont really need camber or toe adjustment, all need is longer bolts and a few washers. The front is what you have to worry about when being lowered, and really all you need to do (instead of buying adjustable upper ball joints or the camber kits and cutting some of the metal by the upper strut mounts) just have a shop do your toe and you'll be gucci. And how do I know all of this is because I owed(my baby) a 1990 1 owner cb7 coupe and went through front tires almost ever month and I wanted even dumped. I was on neuspeed yellow race springs and good struts not coilovers.

Andrew DeShazo From what I found Hardrace, Megan racing, Godspeed, and truhart make adjustable arms for the cb’s. Look into those brands and you’ll find what you need.

What year & model did you use for your rear setup? I am currently struggling to finish up my rears on my cb7, but after seeing this, I am strongly reconsidering my position.

Winston Buzon for the rear disc conversion I just used the rear trailing arms off of an ex cb with oem rear disc brakes. And for the 5 lug conversion I used 97-01 prelude rear hubs and 02-06 RSX rear rotors.

@@kailani112 they are almost identical! the only thing you need to do is cut the knuckle where the LCA mounts. It's actually pretty easy.

was the trailing arm from a cb7 ex? i know you put the links to the hub but are they prelude hub? if you remember since its been a few years

Not necessarily I got a camber arm (yes toe is what eats tires) but mine hasn't been out of spec to much. It's a little sketchy in the rain though

I have a CB7 and was thinking about converting my rear brakes into disc brakes. where did you get all of the rear suspension parts from? where did you buy the knuckle, for example, and which parts do you need to change in order to do the conversion process? Thanks in advance for your help!

He got the rear knuckle and trailing arm from a 92 or 93 EX in the junkyard.

Hey man on the rear axle nut what u used because the one from a prelude won’t tread that great in like it has the big washer too let me know man just nervous my wheel fall off..by the way its looking good...I just finished mines but just having trouble on the rear on the axle nut

Jayquan Santiago honestly got the toe arms off eBay... if I remember correctly they are truhart toe arms. The camber arms are Megan racing and the rear control arms are function and form which I got directly from them.

very informative video. I was reading online about having to change a proportioning valve or something? did you run into any issues on too much brake power in the rear?

If you’re only swapping to rear discs yes you want a prop valve from an accord with rear discs. I did the Rl calipers at the same time. And with the RL calipers up front and the discs in the rear I didn’t have nay issues with proportioning.
