CBC - Swiss Air Flight 111 Memorial September 9th 1998 

CBC's coverage of the memorial for Swiss Air Flight 111 in which crashed off the coast of Peggy's Cove Nova Scotia on September 2nd, 1998. All 229 passengers and crew members aboard the McDonnell Douglas MD-11 were killed in what would be the second highest death toll of any air disaster to ever occur in Canada. The memorial ceremony was held in Indian Harbour, Nova Scotia on September 9th, 1998 and this is CBC's live coverage of that event.
