@Michael Jones Yeah that stuff would make terrible incense. Making it into 'wood' pellets sounds like a good idea. I was thinking animal fodder (add to hay or feed for animals to eat as fiber) or a kitty litter additive.
@br de they just started issuing hemp cultivation licenses and breeders licenses in Florida in April but these guys screw press would do Ight in a sterile area
@br de no cultivation for commercial use anyone can grow premium organic indoor hemp that will look, taste, smell and smoke exactly the way cannabis does. Only no one is getting high from low thc content so it’s legal to smoke in public only the stuff they sell now is brown dirt from old school industrial hemp ppl who army concerned with harmful products and contamination. 2022 will be the year
Hi there, If you use an extruder you’ll be able to break the cell’s membrane, making it easier to extract the oil in the press, besides that, the extruder, due to the pressure will heat the bulk material over 120ºC, sterilising the bulk material. With the extrude+press method, you’ll obtain a higher yield of oil, and a cake with less oil residue.
We don't build extruders we build screw presses. Most of the 200+ we have in the hemp industry are used on post process material so the cell walls are already broken open when they process. This was just a test on waste material. They bought the press and it paid itself off in a week. Shows how much money they were leaving behind
Great video very well made, shows process very well. 2 questions where can purchase that particular machine and how much material to oil. Thanks for the demo.
@@marcelsinky1652 The hemp was delivered to us to test and see how much of the oil we can press out of it. This was material the customer had already processed and we were showing them how much they were leaving behind. You can email me with any additional questions Matt@vincentcorp.com

How much weed did you use to get that amount of fluids how much water is in that liquid I thought you had to dry the product really good and extract the oil with CO2 or isopropyl or butane
Sorry, either I did not understand something or something essential is missing in the article, for me it is coconut oil mixed with vegetable juice depending on the type CBD or THC containing and nothing else, nothing was extracted. Could someone enlighten me.
Lloyd Griffin they use all of plant besides main steam.its not like cannabis were males are no good.weight is product in cbd hemp.cbd shatter I assume is buds of flower.but who smokes cbd.
Our screw presses are an integral component of any medium to large scale Hemp processing with either Ethanol and/or MCT Coconut for the extraction of CBD oils for short path distillation and refinement
So what happens with the last bit that can't compress due to no more material in front of it? Are you left with an augers tube worth of unprocessed biomaterial?
Yes its infused with MCT and was processed. We were using the press to show them what they are leaving behind. Press paid itself off in a week for that customer. I don't think they are decarbing it before pressing the waste material.
Nope. We recover 98-99% of the CBD oil in the plant. From there they winterize, remove chlorophyll, remove fines if present then separate the solvent from the CBD with a rotovap or falling film. Most of our 180 customers using it for hemp run ethanol
Your experiment seems to have been a success. But do you need more professional and larger CBD distillation and extraction equipment now? I can provide it to you.😀
Were you able to get the CBD values that would get let's say from CO2 extraction? Would this be considered organic the way your doing or full spectrum?
We get out 98+% of the CBD. CO2 wouldn't pencil out right now for CBD. THC is a different story because the flower sells for 20-50x more. Those that use CO2 bought them when the price was significantly higher. Most are using ethanol and hyrdocarbon now but I like the idea of hemp oil, olive oil, or coconut mct for the reason you mentioned above. With our press most use it for post process waste material to squeeze the rest of the solvent and CBD out. Some do use it as a primary extraction vessel but it will press out more waxes and chlorophyll you will need to filter out later.
200+ of them are in operation in extraction labs across the country. Most of the presses pay themselves off in a week so the customers seem to be ok with doing a little more winterization to make an extra $5-30k a day. I have one customer who claims the press pays his salary each day he runs it. I don't know his salary but am assuming its 30k min. To each their own though.
Most tend to use ethanol but our customers use a variety of solvents. Coconut/MCT, olive oil, hemp oil, BHO, Acetone, Hexane, Pentane, Heptane. Everyone has a different way of extracting CBD.
4 gallon blue cap whole seed ? cake ? oil? what is capacity. of the expeller press i am seeing the oil out one end..and look like alot. maybe look like 200 pounds of oil per hour. in which case of castor seed would be a 440 pound feed.
Im not quite clear what you are asking. We were testing post process Coconut / MCT infused hemp to see what we could squeeze out of the waste material. Very successful test. Seeds don't do all that well in our press. An Anderson Expeller would work better. 110 lbs an hour to 70,000 lbs an hour on a dry basis
This is for testing and destruction purposes only. The factory employs 100 welders, machinists, fitters and assembler. It's a steel fabrication plant. Not a processing facility
Not at all. Its just a test and the liquid and material are thrown away. The trash can we throw it away in doesn't seem to care about the grinder. The 210 customers who are using our press include some of the largest companies in the industry. Those are mainly C1D1 labs though.
@Braxton's Basketball Diaries Those run $21,400 shipped in USA and include Food Grade, VFD, XP motor, Stand and all air components. The newer models have a larger hopper. The one in the video is 8"x8". The newer version is 8"x16" so twice as long.

@@gregcorley2757 what quality is your bio material? Starting material is important keep anything without apparent resin glands out of extract and don't crush up your material as much as just make sure it's not so compact the surface area can't be reached if you agitate it too much you will more than likely pull more plant matter also keep your material as cold as possible to avoid pulling out unwanted material.. these companies are making commercial products not medical products they may claim it's medical quality but only to the extent it has medical value not on the grounds that it's even close to top quality medical.. it's also important to note I grow my own in my closet and basement at home I've aquired some amazing genetics the below my oil comes out averaging I have up to date lab results with my name for the oil I produce for myself and my niece conformation the flower I grow is legal in all 50states %4 cbd above %60 so don't go to corporate America for this please help your real neighbor
*I believe it's just a moisture expeller. You'll need more sophisticated equipment to properly blast or cold-press the sticky trichome resins from your hemp pulp. The same process can be applied to high THC cannabis biomass for wax, oil and dab preparation.*
If you ran dry hemp through it would not press anything out. If you soaked it in say ethanol or Coconut MCT and let the trichromes disolve then the press would press out close to 98% of the CBD. You will however get waxes and chlorophyll into the press liquor so a winterization process would be needed after. This particular test was on post process material a customer sent us. Test was an amazing success. They love the press as it paid itself off in a week. Vincent Corporation matt@vincentcorp.com
You could but there is a law of diminishing returns. The press will press out most of whats possible on the first run but there are other factors that could come into play. If the material blinds the screen in certain areas somf of that press liquor might make it into the press cake. In cases like that you might want to run it twice. Some of our customers use counter flow wash systems with 2 presses (the second press injecting ethanol directly into the screen area) to press out everything they can.
Fuck the A off from CBDA convert the CBDA into the “activated” Cbd. I don’t know know personally, I get the same effect from a big spoon full of peanut butter as from CBD. I bet there’s just as much medicinal value in CBDA as there is in Cbd!!? I think you should experiment and find what works the best for you, don’t listen to popular opinion. You can’t believe everything everyone says especially your boss, they’re like government and no matter what they say they don’t have your best interests at heart! ;) Don’t think of the plant as a drug. It’s not a drug because drugs are poison and to this day I’ve never heard of anyone overdosing on cannabis sativa :) Think of it as a magic herb with incredible medical properties that not only relieve symptoms better than any traditional medicine can but also cures what modern medicine was taught to believe was permanent or terminal. Well if whilst relieving symptoms as it cures and if it happens to improve your mood whilst it nourishes your endocannabinoid system so that our bodies can regenerate on a cellular level is that such a bad thing!??? Food is medicine and that’s a fact! Thank Fuck For Rick Simpson! Fuck I miss Bob Hawke! A great prime minister and a good bloke...... haven’t seen that since the late 80s!!! Don’t mind me, we’re a long way behind the modern world. Down Under

Process further. Winterize, remove chlorophyll, remove fines if any present, falling film evap or rotovap to separate ethanol from CBD gets you to raw crude
Cbd come from the entire hemp plant, there are some cannabinoids that are only in the stalk and leaves, when you press the entire plant you are left with a full spectrum oil, if you only press the buds of the hemp plant then you are left with cbd a cbd b, and thc a and delta 8 and 9......the emotive plant has less then 3% thc so it’s considered to be 0% thc

Choke should be on rods or hydraulic, and screw is turning too fast your cake should be fluffier. Every time choke jumps open you are Loosing and all de watering is being done on last 20 percent of baskets. Just my opinion 30 year industrial mechanic
I agree. When the cake gets too built up it pushes the press back and you lose unpressed material i would run again. . And i think the dry cake would be good for makin tiles or bricks
We have been building these since the 50's with about 10,000 in operation. Thanks for the input. This test was a tremendous success. The customer has saved / made several hundred thousand off of it by recovering the coconut / mct and additional CBD from their waste material
hemp has very little cbd, i use a indica whole plant for cbd and thc-a, infuse it with hemp seed oil over nite in the freezer than press it twice in my omega masticating juicer.
Completely incorrect. Hemp seed has no CBD. Hemp grows CBD the exact way marijuana grows THC. It’s cannabis, you wouldn’t expect to get high off of a thc seed, so why expect cbd to be in hemp seed. Hemp cultivars can go over 15% cbd now no problem with little to no thc.
@@michaelaragon1468 and i think theres a difference between hemp cbd and pot cbd. I got cbd in colorodo few yrs ago it helped with my back pain immensely and i got hemp cbd here in ny and it doesnt do diddly
If you use petroleum ether instead of oil, in this case you will get a dry extract. And if the operation is performed twice, you will extract 100% cannabinoids. About this there is a on my channel, unfortunately my starter was hacked.
thats basically the second run of already infused product, thats been extracted. That "stuff' you pressed out is the lowest quality oil. Gosh thats why its hard to trust anybody besides organized rec centers these days. Most homegrowers just throw away that "wet stuff". its just not worth getting Every drop out of it, but if you can make a living off the waste of others, hats off.
In terms of CBD potency, I disagree. They're simply wringing out the last of the oil from the extraction; it's the very same oil. Any quality "degradation" only applies to any extra crap that's extracted by squishing the hell out of it. The CBD is still there, it's just in a darker oil with more junk in it. So for use in creams and such, who cares?
You can get a little more out but it would be good to reintroduce the material with more ethanol. We can set the press up to directly inject more into the screen area
Because our customer wanted to test coconut MCT oil. We don't extract here. We just make screw presses used in several hundred applications hemp being the most recent.
@@Mattinator1973 in hemp oil there are just 20% fat acid and in mtc oil there is up to 90% fat acids for the cannabinoids to be solvent in. its the best fat :)
@@parandersson9406 Thanks for the info. Unfortunately I don't choose the solvent our customer uses. Our press doesn't know the difference between hemp oil, MCT, or Ethanol. It just presses them out of the material.
