Great vid Ben! Question for you. I was recommended to test ad sets as ABO $20/day) and then convert profitable ad sets to CBO ($100/day). However, on day 1 of CBO I got only 1 sale when I was averaging 3-4 sales on ABO… any idea why since CBO is supposed to give “better” results?

@@liban2 apparently CBOs are only advantageous for products that are scaleable. In other words, your product/ad genuinely have to appeal to a larger audience. Otherwise you will have more success with ABOs which niches down your target audience

Request - instead of using plumber, electrician, etc. for your example on your next video could you maybe use a mobile service iPhone repair business instead😅? I know it’s a long stretch but I’d just like to see how you would tackle this since this is my niche. As always thank you for all you do!

Do you offer a service where you can set up the foundation structure of a campaign for me but then I will manage it after that? I already use Facebook ads, so I’m just looking for someone to set up the initial structure for my new self-help book business. This way, I will have a good start and be able to manage the campaign myself. Do you offer this service?

My facebook ad account went bonkers today. I'm running CBO and within 10 minutes of the new day, my campaign spent half of my daily budget on one adset and the cost is more than twice as much for the same result previously. I immediately turned that adset off and it's still spending money. I reckon it's delayed reportings, but it's days like these I feel FB is stealing from their advertisers and makes me feel really discouraged. Why would FB blow my budget like that??

If I use Advantage Campaign Budget ON with only 1 ad set and 3 ads, will this still work and just divide the budget between the 3 ads?

No it only applies to the ad set level. If you have one ad set, it doesn't make a different either way.

Hi Ben, I have a question. If someone sees your ad and does NOT click the website link but clicks something else on the ad like the facebook profile and then goes to your website through google. If they purchase something will that count as a result on that ad? I ask because I am getting results on one of my ads but the Shopify order is saying "1st sessions was direct to your store" & not "From Facebook", which I am guessing means they did not Link Click?

That person will be included if they can be tracked (most likely not if using iOS device) and they converted within the attribution window you are using (most likely 7 days). I know that sounds quite vague but that's the reality.

You can go either way. I would still often use CBO but if you find all the budget is spent there you may not want to

That really depends how many ad sets you have and what the target audiences are? I would probably only use one ad set on a typical awareness campaign so it wouldn't matter either way.

Ok, but how many ads do you use for that 1 adset? Most people says that whem testing a product, we should use many (4-5) adsets for each product, why do you use only 1?🥹😀

HI Ben. Awesome as always. I wanted to ask you about a question I had about priming a Facebook page. Here is the scenario: I prime the page and include Worldwide audience. Then, a few weeks later once I start running my Direct T o Offer campaign, I include the "everyone who has engaged with my FB page" in one of the warm audiences in the warm Ad Set. My question: When I launch my warm Ad Set, and make my location the United States (we are a US based company), those people who may have engaged with my Facebook page when I was priming will be automatically EXCLUDED, correct? Thanks.
