Ride along as the Illinois Railway Museum's CB&Q 9911-A EMC E5 "Silver Pilot" pulls the passenger train through the grounds of the North Carolina Transportation Museum during Streamliners at Spencer. At the opposite end of the train was the New Haven 2019, an EMD FL9 visiting from the Railroad Museum of New England.
The video begins at the south end of the property near the Norfolk Southern mainline and continues north to the main museum visitor entrance. We stop in the middle, across from the Bob Julian Roundhouse, to drop off and pick up event attendees wishing to ride behind these two classic streamlined locomotives.
