I would not have installed that front sprocket using the transmission to stop things from turning. Remove it with the old chain in place and reinstall it with the new chain on the bike and stuff a rag between the chain and rear sprocket to stop it from turning. No chance of damaging the transmission that way.

Chain is wayyyyy too taught, when the rider sits on the bike, the chain will be over-tight! Amateur!

Nice video. I recently picked up a 2014 CBR1000RR SP in Pennsylvania with VERY similar mods minus the braided lines and with an aftermarket seat/ engine protectors. Same gold levers, red shifter boot, even the same rear spools. Very odd…🤔🤔

The SC58 SP model is still an amazing bike. I had the chance to ride one and I also owned a non-sp 2016 matte black version for 3 years. Besides the HP deficit, the CBR is an amazing bike to ride and makes it so easy to go fast.

a little locktite blue wont hurt, especially on the front sprocket.

You didn't explain that the rotor is aluminum and steel. Gold part is aluminum.

Incorrect move putting the bike in gear and beating the transmission up wt the impact. Simply remove the front sprock bolt first, while it’s still under tension wt the chain. Loctite & torque front sprock bolt as well as rear sprocket nuts! Amateur, lolZ

Doesn’t take off lower fairing to change oil? Gets caustic oil all over my nice plastic painted fairings? No thanks. Amateur.
@ayowser01
@ayowser01 9 месяцев назад
I'd reason that Honda designed the fairings this way so as to not remove the plastics. He just messed up and dripped oil on it.
