honestly dude I've been waiting for a video like this like, thank you for really talking about everything about the exhaust.I did want to get one too but was slightly nervous but thanks to this video I'm certain I want the exhaust due your in depth talk
I really appreciate that bro! I gotta say it's crazy loud but it's a great looking exhaust and won't break the bank. I'm sure I've missed a few bolts on the radiator and a lot of push clips for the fairings, but I try to talk about everything and give you all the info
Have the same exhaust on the cb650r. My favourite part is when it kinda gurgles when you let off the throttle a little bit. I am in love with this exhaust. Totally changed my riding experience
Nice! The burbles and pops when you let off are super nice, I'm in love with them too. I can't wait to pair it with a good tune, I'm sure it'll sound even a bit better😁
Spot on mate, good video. I’ve had black widow exhausts on all of my bikes they are made near me 😂 been looking at this exact same one for my bike or might try the mivv one as well.
Thanks man! That's awesome that they're near you, but they also sent it right away and I got it within a week😁 I'd say go for black widow, I believe it's cheaper and might be louder
Thanks bro! I always try to do everything myself, it's not that hard and you can learn something new about the bike. It's from Black Widow and it's the De-Cat Low Level system with a 200mm round carbon can + blue tip
Hi man, don’t you know how dealers deals with aftermarket exhaust and bike’s warranty? Maybe would be safer option to buy exhaust with cat included? For me, only downside of this bike is stock exhaust, so I want to get rid of it as soon as possible after first service. Stay safe 😉
honestly u shoud tune it, i got my sc project for my cbr650r, the air filter kyn performance and the tune and its an absolute beast, i hace won some races against mt09 and f900
Good to know! I'm definitely planning on getting it done sooner or later (currently fixing the bike up after a small crash - video coming this Thursday). From what I've heard you don't gain too much power from the CBR because the powerband is already pretty linear, but I'm definitely excited to see how it's gonna feel after a tune!
did you just order off the website? I con only find the 230mm silver variant in the "U" system that sits under the bike like this. Amazing sound, good video.
Yeah I did, this is the exact one that I have - www.blackwidowexhausts.co.uk/cbr650r-2021---2024-de-cat-low-level-exhaust-system-200mm-round-carbon--blue-tip-silencer-48729-p.asp They offer this for 21-24 year versions, so if you have a 2019 or 2020 it could be different
The Mivv looks pretty good and will definitely sound great as well, but I sill prefer the looks of the Black Widow one more. The low level system with the smaller can and blue tip just looks amazing in my opinion, and I believe it's cheaper as well.
@@MotoSquidYT You are right it is cheaper, and yes the blue tip is just 😚. But not gonna lie the Mivv has more of the Moto GP flyby sound if u get what I mean, again tough choices...
@@CoreAB Black Widow definitely wins on the looks in my opinion😁 when it comes to sound, you really have to hear the bikes in person to be able to compare, but I get what you're saying and I can hear it a bit in a few yt videos
Basically low level means the end can sits under the bike (what I have), high level would have a longer exhaust pipe and the end can would sit somewhere under the passenger foot pegs
I have a question about the speedometer. To hide or not to hide it for videos? I mean you can have an issue with the police if the video reaches them or the only way they can get you is with their certified measurement systems?
That's tough man, I know some people blur it out and some people leave it. Even if the speedo is covered you can tell if I'm going fast or not. I guess the best bet is to not show plates so you can't be identified, or ride without them😂
@@StanielBG it does take a lot of time, I'm also not great at it😂 You can see that in my last video where I blur my friends license plate lol. Anyways I think it's good to blur it, but if you're not showing your plates, face and not giving your info, you don't really have to blur the speedo in my opinion
I'm currently changing exhaust to CS Racing and K&N Filter in my CB650R will let you know what are the result without ECU tune. I should get dyno result next week.
Nice, definitely let me know how it performs without and with the ECU! I'm looking to get one at the end of the season, but still deciding what tuner to pick. What year is your CBR?
@@MotoSquidYT 2k23, getting quickshifter as well as you :) but I need to decide about tune up is it worth to add extra 450 Euros for couple hp more, but first lets wait what dyno say about changing those two parts.😅
@@SYTROP14N Nice, I have a 2022. Quickshifter is definitely a must and the one from Honda apparently is the best. It'll help the bike also run smoother so it's not just the power gain, but it's definitely good to find a reputable tuner that will do a good job
@@MotoSquidYT 3HP up, after replacing exhaust and air filter to CS Racing and K&N. There is bit more difference at the beginning between 5,5-7,2k rpm. Entire range is nice and smooth, test was performed without dbkiller/8C. I'm waiting for tune it. Will let you know.
@@fuccfeds tam mi staci jen na Honda kliknout a mel bys tam mit spoustu modelu na vyber. Ale urcite kdyz jim napises tak pomuzou, me odpovedeli za den😁
Here you go, this is the same one - www.blackwidowexhausts.co.uk/cbr650r-2021-2023-de-cat-low-level-exhaust-system-200mm-round-carbon--blue-tip-silencer-48729-p.asp
@@crim6958 don't know what you mean... if you mean the actual silencer (end can) you definitely need one, they have many options. If you mean the db killer, it comes with one, i still have it in and it's very loud
