CBS and ABC Commercials (1978) 

I was six years old, and I still remember some of these commercials. Take me back to when my mom and dad were still alive. Thanks for putting this out

1978 - the year I graduated high school - was a VERY good year! Was fun being a teenager in those days - care free times!

The late 1970s, also known as the harvest gold craze!

Watching these old commercials makes me feel so homesick and sad.....I was 23 years old in 1978....I am now 65.......

My god, I didn't remember there were 2 liter glass bottles. They went to plastic pretty quick.

Used to collect all the glass bottles carrying them to the grocery store around the block for return & then buy candy.

23:42 Crazy to think now that there was a time where a DC and a Marvel show aired on the same network much less back to back. Wouldn't see that happen nowadays.

And it's so weird to see my hometown Boston TV station... doing a news break about the tornado that ripped up a school about 6 miles from where I'm sitting watching it now in Florida. The school was actually High Point Elementary, which is in Largo, but from 1500 miles away, whaddya gonna do?

I was young but it was around this time I believe that I started getting excited and watching the triple crown races every year with my father, it became a tradition that lasted years after that, I rarely watched it in the past 14 years since my father has passed, but this brings back great memories!
