CBS TV aired this 3 minute extended promo for the "It's All Right Here" 1993 fall campaign only a few times. Enjoy. Video remains the property of CBS, all rights reserved.
The few good things for CBS that season was their acquisition of David Letterman from NBC and the Lillehammer Winter Olympics. Unfortunately, this would also be the season they lost the broadcast rights to Major League Baseball and NFL football as their sports rights overbidding in the late 80s came back to bite them from behind, leading to the loss of many of their stations switching affiliation to Fox and their overall ratings nosediving to dead-last.
I wonder if Carroll O Connor was reluctant to return to CBS when his show changed networks. He vowed never to work for the network again after Archie Bunkers Place didn’t get a proper finale.

I've been watching a compilation of CBS promos from the 1970s onward and this woman at 0:25 appears frequently in the 90s promos. Does anybody know who she is?
2:09 Unfortunately mid-season the “excitement of the games” would go to the Fox Network after the December 1993 announcement that would change TV forever.
