The Back Bay area of Boston used to be in the harbor, one way of expanding! Such clear blue water, what a great day at the beach, I avoid beaches in the summer as I burn all the time. I prefer them in the fall.
Great. I look forward to your videos and make time to watch them in the evening after I've done my own cooking and cleaning, etc. I've gotten into the habit of making miso soup at least once a week! I'll usually eat it for lunch and dinner. You also inspired me to try natto... I think I'll have to try it again cause I didn't quite like it the first time. Keep enjoying your life!
Thanks for taking us to the island beach, and giving us a view of the coral and fish. I also hated tomatoes as a kid, but really like them now. There is nothing like a summer’s locally grown tomato for taste. It would seem like heaven to live where fresh seafood is so easily bought.

Dear Sho-さん , Thank you for another great video. In The Netherlands we "celebrated" the Japanese capitulation in east Asia yesterday. The Japanese invaded Indonesia, which was a Dutch Colony. A few years after the second world war the Indonesian rebelled and we behaved like animals there. It will forever be a black stain on Dutch history (and there are many stains). It's both tragic and heartwarming how yesterdays enemies can become todays friends and how war (especially Hiroshima and Nagasaki) can seem so futile. So unnecessary.

I didn’t see any tomatoes in your garden. Since you love them now maybe grow some heirloom varieties. Only thing is tomatoes like a lot of water The Perseid meteor shower started a couple of nights ago. Normally you see them best after midnight. At least in our latitude in the USA
Im going to Japan in late September: First Tokyo, then Kyoto and at least Osaka. Do you know if the cicadas will be still alive and chirping? I've always wanted to hear them live, but I'm afraid that the season is already over when we're there. 😮

Their cry sounds like "Washi-washi," with a choppy rhythm. ▼ Abura-zemi Abura-zemi are active from mid-July to late September. Their cry, said to be named after the sound of oil frying, goes "Jiri-jiri-jiri-jiri" with a fine, continuous rhythm. ▼ Minmin-zemi Minmin-zemi are active from mid-July to early October. Their cry goes "Miiin-minmin-minmiin." ▼ Higurashi Higurashi are active from early July to early September. I think your soybeans have powdery mildew. Not uncommon but hard to correct. We have had problems with fungus on our roses and also our peach trees. No fruit at all this year...😭
