One of the reasons connections released was because cc2 finally got the rights to use Boruto characters from the anime version, and just by a glance you can tell connections was rushed, Matsuyama said it was his last storm game, so that means we could get someone else to take his spot while he moves to a different engine

Ok, I need a Kakarot inspired Naruto game. Whether it be set in the Boruto timeline or Naruto to Shippuden timeline I don't really care but it's something that I NEED! Give us The Last and Boruto stuff as DLC like what they did with Kakarot.

I have clips of the videos where senju mentioned this if you want them. I had a feeling he was going to take this down so I screen recorded it. He mentioned this twice. When storm trailer was released and when the game came out.

I remember this as well, I watched senju in Japans vid where he said there would be an open world Naruto game with multiple villages and character creation. Senju was right yet again he had reliable sources, the game was most likely delayed and is still under development.

Bro, I’m proud of you for making this video. This is something that’s been needed to be said for years now. Senju in japan was always ahead of the Mark. And because not everybody knows how to read in between the lines he got a bunch of hate and ungrateful energy. I want a naruto open world game that feels like you are playing like a shinobi so you are agile, can parkour etc.

We already saw naruto history in the ultimate ninja saga since early 2000's, we want to see something new, like a massive open world RPG multiplayer game when you create your own ninja, as old as you want, even the possibility to get old over time and get promoted to chunin, jonin, anbu, etc, or make a squad, create new jutsus and uses old ones, train to become stronger, travel throughout the shinobi world and among its most famous villages, fight bandits, rogue ninjas, monsters, demons, samurais, be able to make summon contracts after training at one of the wise animal places, go on duty and make missions, earn money and spend it on ninja weapons or tools, meet famous people from history, that exists events such as fighting Madara, or another ninja of great power in an open field with many players including your team, or that there is an event about the shinobi world war, that by exploring the world we discover unknown facts about the Narutoverse and its past, the posibility to awaken Dojutsus, experiment with your own body, learn jutsus from secret scrolls, the ability to travel to other dimensions, etc... Most likely, Bandai won't do this because they are afraid of success, but as fans of this saga we should demand ambitious things like this.

We DON'T need a reboot of the Storm games! Storm was good for what it was. It SHOULDN'T be experimented even further! I love Naruto! One of my favorite series in the anime community! But I don't want them to retell us Naruto's story again! I know it already! I've read the Manga, watch the anime, and I've played the multiple, MULTIPLE Naruto games that retell his story. So NO! No more! The series is fine the way it is. Especially after Storm Connections, we DON'T need anything else to do with Storm. And speaking of Storm Connections....really? They said this is going to be the "last" Storm game? CC2 said that same bullshit before the release of Storm 4 was publish. But then they make a fool out of themselves and release Connections as a celebration of Naruto's 20th anniversary. Who the hell says they won't do this shit again when it's Naruto's 25th anniversary? Whatever. If these fools want to remake something, remake the Ultimate Ninja games from the PS2! I mean....HOLY SHIT! Those games would sell like hot cakes! Hell, even a simple freaking Remaster would do the work! It has it's fans! Including myself! I would buy the Ultimate Ninja games again. Remake or Remastered! It doesn't matter! Give us a 2D Naruto fighter type style like Dragoball Fighter Z! Give us a Naruto Xenoverse game! Get the rights to the Clash of Ninja games and remake them! Give us a Naruto JRPG style like the Fairy Tail game did! And it doesn't stop there! The possibilities are endless! There are SO MAY ideas these guys can do for Naruto! But they're not using their heads! Much like Storm Connections, it feels like they don't care and their just using Naruto, just because of his name. My knucklehead orange wearing ninja deserves better!

In terms of presentation, I'm very much looking forward to where CC2 would take the Naruto style in a new engine outside of the Storm series as they've improved and developed a lot over the years. From within the Storm series alone, you can just feel the difference in direction and quality when you compare the recently added characters with the older characters from Storm 1 through Generations. Their Demon Slayer game is one of the best looking anime game out there as they were able to fantastically capture the look and feel of the anime aesthetic into 3D so well. As much as I love the visuals of the Storm series, it's assets and engine has been used since the PS3 era and I feel there are elements where you can feel the age in comparison to CC2's recent works. I'd imagine something new would be a breathe of fresh air to the Naruto style for CC2 and I'm excited to see where they take it if they were to make another Naruto game.

Idk, for me the main appeal has always been being able to play as all those different characters. I'd be fine with a Kakorot-style RPG as long as they also let me play as all of the villains and stuff.

Your def right, I remember Senju addressing people bashing him for being wrong and he had said that his sources said that it was originally gonna be an open world Naruto cac game. I hope that’s the case still. The key to making one of the best Naruto games ever made is to depict the series and anime as much as possible so an open world Naruto cac game would be amazing. It wouldn’t feel right leaving out the cac aspect.

CC2 will indeed take the open rpg route since Naruto has the most diverse fighting style power scale and techniques customization and transformation it’ll be the only game rivaling dragon ball which makes sense ultimate ninja and tenkaichi were the two biggest

A Broken Bond style game with a create a character? Sounds like the game I've been wanting for years! Hell, Broken Bond all the way up to Boruto era would do me fine! I hope the CaC part is true, I've always wanted that kind of thing in a Naruto game, Shinobi Striker was alright on that front but I want more, and more of an RPG progression to it.

basically connections was just a quick money grab to get the money needed to support their new engine game. they definitely should involve the last era as all characters had shining moments in the novels

I still say we need a massive mmorpg where you create your own ninja and live in the world of Naruto. I think shinobi striker was a necessary stepping stone for character creation, some weapons could be done better and have there cannon effects such as Shibuki (one of the 7 mist swords) if I remebe correctly, there's no actual use if the paper bombs which would be dope to include. Now I think there should be a realistic mode and a normal mode. The realistic is what is sounds like, once your character is dead, your dead and gotta start over, you don't get to pick which nature element you have (naruto didn't choose to be wind style) after reaching jonin...you'll have the potential to master a second nature element (no grantees), you pick your village, you can become rouge and join the akatsuki or simply be a bandit, you have to play daily or your rank can lower, you can be killed in your sleep if your out if the village (safe zone ONLY if no war is going on) if there's a war you can try to sneak in but security be tight...you can also do spy missions when no war is going on, chuunin exams will occur, every one start in the ninja academy (tutorial), to do jutsu it can be like a bar at the bottom where you use R1 or L1 to move thru it and hit a button to use it, kages chosen by election but they must play everyday as being the leader of the village...of course that's the realistic mode, the normal mode, your character can respond, you can pick your own nature element...pretty much everything the same just much more laxing and not as punishing.

Would love to see a Natuto game that picks the best things from other CC2 games. Rpg style like Kakarot, and unique BossFights like DemonSlayer

The way I see it, we are either due for the next evolution of the Ultimate Ninja Series or a brand new Naruto x Boruto video game franchise. We had Ultimate Ninja on the PS2 and Ultimate Ninja Storm from the PS3 to the PS5 *(15 year run).* Currently, the place that Naruto is at with video games is where Dragon Ball was with its anime/manga content in the 2000s. On the cusp of something new, but borderline devoid of content or any quality content. After Connections, it is clear that the Storm franchise peaked years ago and is standing on thin, cracked ice.

YUP not touching this game….now they finally started the ruining of the Naruto/Boruto IP now….I’m telling y’all if they don’t make it up to us hardcore Storm Fans with this fall out with the Storm Series by giving the IP to either Arc System Or 8ing?!?!?!?! Second comment, but the thing about leaked information that I feel a lot of people can forget about is that they're not concrete plans or promises being made to the general public. It's personal developments getting out there before the developers or publishers are able to confidently present to the public themselves. Things can change or get canceled depending on what's happening behind the scenes, especially when they're not promises made to the public just yet. It's why I think it's always best to take these kind of information with a grain a salt. Not only is there a possibility for information to be wrong, the right information may not happen in the way we expect.

I’ve been saying this for years. I expected Shonobi Striker to be that when it was in BETA. Even if they went with a Xenoverse alternative timeline thing where your ninja helps Naruto.

I've been thinking about the open world rpg for years!! Literally thought I was the only one. I share every sentiment you mentioned especially the Broken Bonds take, it is definitely hands down one of the best Naruto games I've played and was so disappointed when I played the storm games for the first time and saw there just wasn't much free roam just chuck me in a battle with half baked cut scenes. I hope this really happens.
