I ordered a CD this week which should be arriving in a few days and it’s Anaal Nathrakh’s the Codex Necro. Awesome choices with Soilwork, Mastodon, Insomnium, God Forbid, and Static-X.
@@mindful2864 Oh nice! That's definitely one of Anaal Nathrakh's best albums. Yeah, all those bands are awesome. Some of them helped shaped my music taste back in high school.
Nice one Tony! Cool Soilwork collection, I have The Ride Majestic and it's alright. I don't think it's the right era for me to start with them. Really awesome you have all the Mastodon albums, we're only missing the debut now. I don't know Insomnium very well. Enforcer sounds cool. Love that God Forbid album, I wanna get more of their stuff! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
@@JoshKeech Thanks for watching Josh! Yeah, I think Soilwork's older albums is the best place to start. The Ride Majestic is a good album but not their best. I think Mastodon's Remission is their debut (Which I have). I think the only one I'm missing is The Hunter by Mastodon. Insomnium are a solid melodic death metal band to check out. Enforcer are a 80's inspired heavy metal band. But not as cheesy as you might think. Definitely get some more God Forbid into your collection, Josh. Awesome band! 🤘🤘

I'm glad to know The Ride Majestic isn't their best work, I'll have to try some of their earlier stuff. Yeah, Remission is their debut, it's the only one we don't have. Ahh ok that's fair enough. Ok that's cool, I've never been too interested in Insomnium honestly, I heard a track of theirs one time and I thought it was too soft and atmospheric for me. Maybe I just heard the wrong song. Ah nice one, I'll definitely look up Enforcer! Yeah I do, I have 2 of their albums already but would like a couple more. Yeah, God Forbid are awesome! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Good stuff as usual. Not too faniliar with Soilwork. I think I've heard an album or two by them. Early Mastodon rocks! I've seen Phantom a coup,e of times. Always enjoyable.
@@This-Is-Music Thanks for watching Kim! You should check out the early stuff from Soilwork. Gives you a good rundown of their sound. Yeah, early Mastodon does rock! The only time I've seen the Phantom of the Opera musical was back in 2018, I believe. It was honestly spectacular.
I dig the video but maybe like after showing each album let us know what your favorite tracks are maybe what you like and didn't like and if each album had a impact on you and fintroll hell yea man.
