The only thing I know about Chupcabras is the MtG card. Which actually pretty good it was in the meta for a good while. Ravenous Chupacabra 2BB 2/2 When Ravenous Chupacabra enters the battlefield, destroy target creature an opponent controls. The etb effect is something that is almost always playable on a separate 1B card. So if you get it bundled on the same card with an "Meh..." body that's good.
the most important part of Connor going to Puerto Rico is that is really hot and he should bring Sunscreen and he will get stream snipped a lot since Puerto Rico is just a 100 miles wide
I'm in Orlando and see international visitors all the time. I see people dehydrated on a daily basis. Subtropical climate, need to overhydrate compared to what youre used to. PR would be even more important.
also very dangerous depending where you go, so she better do tons of research if she never lived their, ive talked to a puerto rican some places you cant record without even dying
Problem is, knowing Connor and his misadventures in Japan, he will immediately want to go drinking in the single sketchiest area Puerto Rico has to offer.
Unless you go deep into gang territory that would make the locals happy, if a gringo with broken spanish just shows up one day and has a beer with the boys.
Yes but he's not going to PR because SHE is not in PR. She's very protective of her location but she's said in the past that she doesn't live in PR, and that was BEFORE the move (she's on Pacific Time now).
@@RabidDogma well if they decide to shes better do tons of research, someone told me just recording in certain areas will get you killed in puerto rico
Ironmom, in fact, would never put fancy boy in the Cinnamoroll suit, as she stated that "a man cannot sleep in there when there's Cinnamorolls, boys can't go in there, that's for girls"
I've always been told if you hear a woman's scream from the woods go inside, it's not a person it's a bobcat and you don't wanna attract the attention of the murder mittens.
@@San-san6499 never heard anything about that here in mexico. Tho, i live in the coast, but even the times i've gone to wooded areas, i've never heard that
When someone answers "Its dangerous every where " it means yes its dangerous. Especially for an outsider. I remember getting this same answer from my Mexican parents about travel around Mexico. I already traveled alone around the US and wanted to do the same in Mexico. Its also dangerous in the US right? It took them all the up till i had my things packed in my car and was about to drive for the border to stop me and finally tell me how danerous it can be. Even my grand parents called and begged me not go. They told me if any cartel sees me they'll kidnap me for ransom. Its already happened to other family members. Pride took them that long to admit to me its dangerous.
Puerto Rico is definitely not as dangerous as Mexico. As long as you stay away from "los caserios" you should be fine. If I were to give a comparison PR is about as dangerous as New York.
@@j4w3zth30t4ku disagree, i live in new york, its not that dangerous here, and ive spoken to puerto ricans, you cant even record in certain areas without dying, puerto rico is def more dangerous from the stories ive heard
@@j4w3zth30t4ku Honestly, even that sounds kinda alien to me. Here in Austria, the largest risk for a random Welsh boy would probably him walking off a cliff, assuming he can swim and follows basic traffic rules.
@@Alias_Anybody yeah perspective matters a lot. I don't really face danger in life, but that's because of my country, area in that country, gender, color and age. "Everywhere is dangerous" is a good notion to be careful, but it removes actual useful info and differences.
There are three things Connor must be wary of when traveling in my homeland. 1. El Cuco, he is quite dangerous, there is no hiding from him. 2. El Come Pollo. You spend too much time outside and you see a huge bird, he’s coming for ya, go inside. 3. La Chancleta. If you hear a Puerto Rican mom shout “Puñeta te dije que dejes eso!” Run, or else you’ll be caught in the crossfire. Hopefully you tourists and travelers have gleaned a bit of wisdom from a random fox on the internet.
It was my understanding that while Ironmouse is from Puerto Rico, she no longer lives there, do to availability of medical care. Pretty sure she said this in a stream a year or so ago (before she moved the last time even) And they way she's talking here doesn't make me think differently, she constantly uses "There" not "Here".
I mean, so long as Connor avoids places like La Perla and the really sketchy caseríos (you can tell which ones cause like… they just look dangerous lol), he should be completely fine. This isn’t the 70s and 80s Puerto Rico where people were desperate and the gangs would just hang out in broad daylight. Gang violence is still a thing, but with cameras everywhere nowadays, these people tend to keep to themselves mostly. I honestly compare it to like New York gang activity, if you learn to keep to yourself and out of trouble, no one’s gonna mess with you.
And I mean, Japan has yakuzas and Connor’s even stumbled into them a few times. He’s very much still alive and unharmed lol most gang members know to avoid trouble with regular civilians, and it’s the same deal in Puerto Rico, especially if you’re a foreigner.
@@c.k.1933not even the Mexican cartels kill foreigners bruh, tourist zones are generally gang free. There’s only people who might steal your phone or wristwatch if you’re distracted lol.
@@gothicMCRgirl yeah no, buddy, ive talked to someone who visits their a lot, a puerto rican told him as a forigner to not record where he was cause he chances of dying were high
I love her downplaying the fact iguanas are, in fact, dangerous and not only will bite hard enough to rip part of you apart, the bigger ones can whip their tails hard enough to cut you. Unless you know what you are doing, please stay away from the iguanas.
For real, i've had to learn to deal with them growing up and have been on the receiving end of the tail swipes and claws. had scars for a few months after the wounds healed. The key is to grab them by the tail and neck if you need to grab them at all. It limits their tail movement, stops their head from turning to bite and keeps the claws under them when picked so theres less risk of them slicing you.
Personally I think it would be great if his whole time there was just private and just them without chat for the first time. Second time bring chat. But after everything, I think they deserve their own time together IRL
I mean, they’re pretty hard to avoid if you want to look for more local stuff. He might have to drive by one to get somewhere else, but so long as he keeps his head up, it shouldn’t be too dangerous.
He should stream as little as possible, and interact with locals as little as possible. Just be polite with everyone. No overreaction in public is a good idea, "Muuh I am gonna scream and put TTS so chat(legit retards) can say BS", this could get him killed easily LMAO No security would save him, security can't have guns, different from gang members.
yes monkey needs security. He needs protection from the chupacabra and chiwawas. jokes aside. its not a bad idea for connor. Having security/local guide will help a lot out. theres friendly places in PR and also unfriendly. my family moved out for a reason. Beautiful island for vacation though.
Puerto Rico is like Texas, New York, and Florida all crammed into a small island. She’s right to worry for Connor depending on the weather and how upset any person near him will be on any given day.
The mixture of new york, with the climate of florida and the driving/ lations of texas with an pinch salt of hispanics and africans culture truely a ultimate hybrid force to be recon with 😂
She is afraid of being attacked for telling the truth, we live in times that telling the truth is a crime of the highest order and can put your whole family in danger. I literally receive death threats from gang members and cops on the internet regularly (I live in Brazil). Any stupid discussion on the internet they threaten to kill you. If you say the price of something is getting high someone will probably threat to kill you. And this is not like first world "I will kill you" they are literally gang members with pictures of FAL on their perfil that killed dozens of people already LMAO
Puerto Rico is nice if you know where to go. I'd suggest Viejo San Juan, or travelling the mountains around Coamo. If youre in Bayamón, Plaza del Sol is a good mall to check out. San Juan has Plaza las Américas as well.
From what i heard from Reddit... If you are tourist anywhere, have a specific planned out route, always look like you know where you are going. The moment you stop to look at your map and look confused, you become a target
@@moisesmartinezmorales5885 correct. just dont go anywhere that looks like you'd get shanked and if lost just find the nearest shop. Usually the people there will either know the area better than you and will help or at the very least have an idea of where you need to go. worse case when asking them is that they're not local to the area they work in and then you're both confused.
@@rikustorm13 Probably. But there is still a *very* distinct and recognizable difference between a murder rate of 12.8 (Costa Rica) and 0.5 (Switzerland and Italy) - or between a shadow economy (i.e. the relative size of the black market compared to the GDP) of 19.3% (Costa Rica) and 7% (Switzerland and USA) - or between an overall deaths by unnatural causes rate of 18.8 per 100k (Costa Rica) and 4.8 (Italy) or 5.9 (Spain) - and I could go on... Point is: There are safe countrys where violent problems are rare and dealt with swiftly if they ever crop up - and there are countries that clear a few touristy areas and sweep the rest under the general population's rug...
@@rikustorm13brother conmor doesn’t need security in Japan to live stream YET she mention him needing it AND and route to walk in!!! like CLEARLY Puerto Rico ain’t as safe as she is trying to downplay it LMAO
she is right it depends where you go when it comes to danger. for example, im from ponce and i most definitely recommend you stay awy from the ppampano apartments and the lirrios apartments since they both have bichotes or kingpins in english
As a Puerto Rican, She is completely right The island has a lot of problems, i live here i know. Also English speaking people are either praised or absolutely hated(and sideeyed a lot).
English speaking people it depends, just someone looking for adventure and is enlloying its time with us 👍, a rich asshole thats only using our land/us and thats ignorant about the rules and dont care for the conservencen of our fragile ecosystem? 👎
YEAH, NOW IRONFAMILY WILL FINALLY MEET THE FANCY MAN!!!!! Im actually stoked with it, it will prob not be filmed but i want to know both of you news of the event.
Puerto Rico has terrible internet, that will NEVER work lmao also people gonna press him for the camera.. can get dangerous depending on where he goes. One bad turn and it IS very dangerous for a dude with a camera
"One bad turn and it IS very dangerous for a dude with a camera" exactly, Brazil is the same, you should be able to filme around, but film the wrong corner and the situation will get bad.
I almost always stay at a house you can rent out rather than a hotel when I’m in Puerto Rico away from San Juan. Not crowded, beaches are just as beautiful and the local restaurants have killer mofungo. Add a few coqui frogs chirping in the back yard and a cold beer and your set. Also the only national rainforest in the U.S is pretty cool for a nice hike to a waterfall.
I think the ebst place for Connor to be are in the regions of San Juan and Bayamon. The middle of Puerto Rico will not have any wifi signal and will be the worst place to stream. I can barely watch a vid in 720p. but knowing Connor, he would end up trying to go to every place he can go to.
In Latin America has low internet Wifi (which livestreams might be delaying OR slowing down) plus in many Hispanic countries there's plenty of scammers trying to loot forgeiners so... is better if Connor can take serious precautions! I was born in Panama and I'm speaking from my experiences.
I think that Rincon or Cabo Rojo are probably good places for him to visit and stream. Both are Beach Towns and at least in Rincon there's a lot of English speakers. He could probably do a stream in Old San Juan, but that's the biggest tourist spot on the island and he would get stream sniped almost instantly. There's also hiking spots like the Yunque Rainforest, but having consistent internet access in the mountains s not guaranteed. There's also the option of going to one of the smaller islands in Puerto Rico, Vieques and Culebra. They have world class beaches, but you need to take a ferry or a small plane to reach them. There's tons to do in Puerto Rico and plenty more excellent places to visit than the few I mentioned.
At least she's keeping it real. There are some rough sections to PR, hell some of the gentrified upscale portions are dangerous in different ways. Conner has been to Chicago and to LA multiple times so I think he can recognize scetchy areas and use common sense.
If Connor comes to Puerto Rico I would probably suggest he come prepared for high humidity 85+ degree weather. We're currently experiencing hurricane season so its been raining a lot but when it doesn't, its stiflingly hot. Puerto Rico isn't that dangerous, but like everywhere you go, its best to be careful. But the sketchy caserios and La Perla(most famous place to avoid usually cuz its in the capital, even if it is better now) are generally what he could keep watch for. There's some pretty cool shit to see, El Yunque is a must for anyone since its the only tropical forest the US has and its the home to a lot of puerto rico exclusive species like el coqui, our puerto rican parrot and some really neat snakes. The bioluminescent bay's are also good and so long as he has a good guide to show him around he's bound to find a bunch of cool places to see and eat in. Bonus, there's nothing poisonous or actually dangerous in Puerto Rico unless you count the caimans that were brought in by idiots. If he sticks to land he's good, if he goes into the ocean then he has to watch out for the currents.
Been to Puerto Rico, can confirm that it’s mostly a cool place. I had two AirBnBs. One near Dorado Beach, about 20 or so minutes away from San Juan/Old San Juan. Very touristy and chill. The other was near the coffee bean farms in the mountains, essentially the whole other side of the island. The second spot was way less tourist friendly (less English speakers and American-like establishments). I’m sure the danger of getting mugged/jumped in the second location was higher due to me being a fish out of water there. However, for the most part, the people were extraordinarily kind and helpful in both locations. Had an old Puerto Rican grandma tell me in broken English to be careful in X-locations and don’t make eye contact with women who have guys near them. Also… iguana are EVERYWHERE. Overall, would recommend the trip.
LMAO funny how Ironmaouse is DOWNPLAYING the fact that in Puerto Rico Conner will NEED security while he Live streams from Japan without it cuz it’s clearly Mousy Puerto Rico is more dangerous that you pretend ain’t
Yeah i think when the “new house” thing happened she moved to the US as well. It wouldn’t be hard since VShojo is US based and it’s pretty easy to move from PR to the US with a job here. Plus she can get really high quality cutting edge medical care here.
