I mean... That's exactly what Corpse was trying to prove. He literally breathed on Twitter and his haters went ballistic and his excessive fans got tattoos of the friggin sound sample. People be weird, man.
There’s a very popular TF2 content creator by the name of Uncle Dane who has asked his community to “stop _worshipping_ RU-vidrs.” Literally the title of the video, a 10 minute rant.
You ain't wrong! Except that guy's impossible to get pissed at. Bro held the "mainstream" MCYT space mostly drama-free for a good two years by simply EXISTING
A person from a latin country with bloodlines dating back to even the 17th century residing in latin countries can come in all the skin tones of the human skin rainbow.
“Human skin rainbow” just sounds like a serial killer’s art project, and the mental image vaguely disturbs me. Now I wonder what would happen if I plugged the phrase into an AI image generator…
It depends in some counties (Brazil, haiti, santo domingo) there were so many slaves that the average is darker meanwhile in others (Argentina) there were so little mix of race that their are usually pale, to the point that they inherited the italian stereotype of having big noses, puerto rico no fricking idea
Especially if you’re from Puerto Rico I was like 8 years old when I found out that not every black person that isn’t boricua is latino and I was 18 years old when I found out that in South and Central American countries black people don’t make a substantial percentage of the population like in Caribbean latino countries… and in my family by the standards of a Estadounidense nobody is the same race
@@mariox204 if the country is as big as Brasil is impossible to attach a specific color to the population... It's not like in the US in latin American countries we don't isolated each others... Familes with multiple color skins are the more normal thing here, what you see in Encanto the movie is basically your typical latin American family.
They don't need ironmouse for that. they do that on their own. half the population that basically lives on twitter now would do it to their own families if twitter didn't exist. They legit don't need a reason, and people need to realize this.
@@eyesofclyde9731 yes because Puerto Ricans are basically Spanish people with a couple percent native people who originally lived on the island. Y'all act like your ancestors weren't colonists (worse than the Anglo colonists) and try to shame us for it
what they need is a month without internet access, to reflect, and when they get their access back, immediate account ban for the next month on all social platforms, just so they can see, that what they're doing is quite counterproductive.
Twitter never should have been so public. People are allowed to be stupid in their own groups, but I feel like the scale of it amplifies the stupidity and gives them confidence
The problem with Twitter is, people are there the entire day. Obsessed for hours. Any little thing will be talked for days as if it was the biggest drama ever, people will twist narratives repost after repost and is the fucking telephone game. Someone says they love pancakes and 3h later people are doxxing them while calling for war because "how dare they say they hate waffles, must be racist/woke (depending on the day), deserves to die". It would be funny from how stupid it is from the outside if it didn't cause so much real damage and hurting
I mean, anime characters are lacking distinct facial features to begin with. It's why two people can look like Aang but also look completely different.
i remember when some hater leaked irl pics of the hololive en girls to "prove that they were all ugly bitches" and they all looked normal, or were even straight up good looking irl lmao
Obi-Wan in the past talking about Mos Eisley: "You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy." Obi-Wan talking about Mos Eisley now: "Well, at least it's not Twitter."
I'll always mention being puerto rican first, but being able to just say 'yeah, I'm part taino and african' while being one of the very few members of my family to have the stronger spanish genes is hilarious. especially when people don't know where Puerto Rico is.
Latinian.... i love that HAHASHSAH perfect. the most gender neutral english term for people from latin america. gonna start using that for myself hjshd
@@Mattatiah95 Wait, you still don't know? Guess the aliens haven't finished briefing everyone in on the take over yet. Don't worry, they'll probably get to your area soon enough.
Twitter is just what happens when you let a huge population of people from different backgrounds say what they want. I'm not a Twitter fan, I don't even have an account. But Twitters toxicity is just the nature of people, not necessarily the sites fault
@@Thealseie I mean, partly. It's worth remembering that like most social media twitter is going to amplify things with the most aggressive engagement. Not the most interesting or useful. Design meant to get more views drives arguments to the top because they keep people coming back to shout. You could design a less nasty version of twitter it just wouldn't be as addictive.
it will never cease to amaze me how humanity is so old but a lot of people are still hung up on the color of someone's skin. not everyone is white. your favorite vtubers might actually have some color. grow up who gives a shit
Subathon? Didn't she mention that she might try doing the lego building in a subathon? I can't wait. (I'm not trying to pressure her to reveal her hands so I won't, but if she chooses to then we're definitely showing support 💯)
@@justaguywhoissleepdeprived6381 nah if she sets it up before streaming which is what i do their wont be a accident, obs allows you to hide things, so she can set up the camera in that view already and hide it until she needs it
@@justaguywhoissleepdeprived6381 She will knock over the camera and it will face her face... Or rather, a Kamen Rider helmet she's been wearing all along in case anything happens XD
Some of those weeb Vtuber fans are just allergic to beautiful brown skin and get mad when your not the same skintone as their waifus. Its a damn shame really. Im glad mouse dont be carin bout those weirdos and just vibin foreal.
Yeah, I'm immediately reminded of when cosplayers with darker skin complexions (though I think black cosplayers have it the worst) get harassed by racists if they dress up as a character with noticeably less melanin.
@@InfinitySevensI feel like cosplay is the only time when a character's race or skin tone doesn't matter as long as you're not doing it to be intentionally rude or racist Even when it comes to characters with unnatural skin tones, because some people don't wanna have to deal with body paint.
idk why some people get SOOOO triggered when they see an anime girl with dark/tan skin, to the point where they photoshop other peoples' fanart to be white
@@ElliotKeaton that would go one of two ways. 1. straight up racism. especially if they chose an anime style. “omg blackwashing anime 😡” or 2. people not believing they’re black until they showed proof.
@@LiterallyAllNamesAreTaken 1) Black anime characters exist. It's only "blackwashing" if you take an already established character and turn them black. Additionally, VTuber avatars don't have to look like the person behind them. As for general racism, that's gonna happen with or without the avatar. Hell, it'll happen _less_ with the avatar. 2) Wut?
@@ElliotKeaton where are these black anime characters, just to start? - but I’ve just seen a lot of general racism when it comes to anime and poc. there’s certain things in life that people believe are just for white ppl and asian ppl and for me- I’m not in many circles but I’ve seen that be goth/emo culture and anime or even just general japanese culture. your definition of it is even dodgy to me as I’ve seen poc anime cosplayers experience racism in that way when it’s not like they can help it. I’m aware they don’t have to look like their vtubers but this is on the chance they want to as we all love representation. don’t see how it would happen less with an avatar though unless they completely and absolutely hid their race. never mentioned it, ever, nothing, and their voice didn’t give it away.
Mousey girl, we love you. People hate you simply because you’re so well loved and popular and plus, they’re pathetic picking on a girl with a disability. But we love uuu!
Honestly I don't understand the fuss about skin tone. Some people don't realize that some skin tones tan and pale easily, like mine. My torso area that rarely sees the sun is pasty, my limbs and face is (annoyingly) tan. It can get pale too if I stay out of the sun, but my being from a tropical country makes that impossible.
@@ca678.4 Word. Just look at Sana, Flare and IRyS from Hololive. All cute models, but their reception was sub-par by their audiences to the point Sana's growth was bodied by her model's skin-tone as well as her aussie accent. Flare only got more popular after they somewhat lighten up her skin tone and gave her a "better" remodel of her version.. And IRyS had to slowly whiten her model until they gave her a rebrush which incidentally made her model lighter too. It just sucks, but you are so right on your comment.
more like a purple green-ish red colour, you know, similar to yellow or blue /s ps. due to her being basically bedridden for the past idk how long, she's quite pale. (~as she described herself)
If we could somehow utilize unhinged crazy twitter weirdos as a source of power, we'd solve the energy crisis. These are the kind of people who would download a picture, open it in ms paint, then use the eye dopper tool and pull out the color swatches.
I always find it somewhat ironic when vtubers have models that don't match they're traits and then make reference to missing traits (mainly a certain niji boi) but like....who cares lol?
the copium in some of the commenters too is killing me lmao "she's indoors all the time, she's fragile and can't go outside, so she's probably very pale" after iron mouse straight up says in the video that she's tan. an indian person could stay indoors all the time, but that doesn't mean they'll turn white.
