At age 38, Tonya was diagnosed with heart failure from smoking. She relied on a battery-powered device inserted in her body to help push blood through her heart. She used to take care of her husband and kids, but they became her caregivers when her health declined. Tonya died at the age of 53.

We don’t want to smoke. Sadly, it is an addiction. Two months for me Friday, hardest thing I ever did.

Yes I do appear a lot on the CDC Tips From Former Smokers but nothing will stop me from thanking everyone for speaking out and telling us about the toxic effects of smoking.

It’s amazing technology you think of all that money and what not somebody could fight these tobacco companies. And instead of all that technology (I do realize there’s money in it) get some water or something to put them down. Another way of looking at it is a steady stream of tobacco keeps all of these companies that make medical devices and everybody in business.
