In this video we are demonstrating the Class A California pre-trip in-cab and final air brake check. We will be reviewing the safe start, applied pressure, spring brake pop-out, low pressure warning test, service break test and in-cab checklist. Follow and memorize this script and you'll have a high chance of passing the brake check for California Commercial DMV 2024.

Good job to the instructor in this video, helped me a lot outside of class time, I am able to keep everything going thru my head, will come back after I pass DMV test for an update with more confidence in passing.

I love that you said take your time. As someone who needs his license in the next two months the pressure can arise causing stress. Felt like you were talking directly to me when you said take your time and breathe and you can always go back and say something you may have forgot

i went to a class recently and was told a few things are not tested anymore. Was my first in person class so i dont have the specific details as to what was taken out. But this video is following the full script i was provided.

You first have to do your tractor and trailer and service brake test before you can go into your air leak down test,,, if you were in Ohio you would have had failed
