As of 03/28/2023, living in North Dakota, I took the air brakes portion of the test and ended up getting a 20/20 (test automatically ends when you get 20 answered correctly) because of this video. It’s literally verbatim and couldn’t have passed without it!

I took the test in Texas and i scored 20 out of 25 questions. Just enough to pass and get my CDL learner's permit. There were actually 22 questions with exact words on this video. Thank you so much for the free answers to the questions.

06/29/23 here in cali just passed all three test using these drive TV videos the questions and answers are the same ones you see in these videos. I recommend studying and taking the test one day at a time because it's alot of information to take in all at once but doing them at separate times and days helps alot at least thats what worked for me

I passed the 8-21-2024, CLP Learners permit, my new employer next month will arrange training for the actual CDL B. In order to start training you have to have a CLP .This video is ideal since it gets right to the actual answer and it's easy to listen to if you can't watch it.

Thank you Guys for this TEST ASSISTANCE All Great The only suggestion To make is ( especially when using in ear headphones ) could you consider using a DIFFERENT SOUND Between slides that clicking noise LITERALLY SOUNDS LIKE A GUN WHEN YOU COCK IT .. a bit anxiety building if YOU KNOW GUNS .. re-editing the videos with simply a better click or pong or ping or bell or whatever is a few clicks away .. Yes some people are shooting for the stars here but we could do without the gun cocking noose between every other slide.. other than that .. It's a valve that allows air to go through in one direction. If compressor fails the valve won't allow tanks to drain back through the compressor.

@20:02 I believe the answer given is incorrect. Read the handbook provided by the dmv under section 5.2 one-way check valve. this keeps air from going out if the air compressor develops a leak. So far other answers have been correct despite some slight changes.

is the answer to the question at 19:47 really the emergency relay valve. I have looked in section 5 of the Texas CDL handbook and there is no info in the emergency relay valve. I would seam like the answer is the one way check valve.

I studied some back in Nov and Friday I was going past the DMV and decided to see what it took to get my class a permit and I passed general knowledge but failed the air brakes test bad. I got to the 19th question and I think there's 25. I also failed combination on the last question
