Here's a good question for you. I have a issue where my Ps4 pro turns on and slowly blinks with a blue light for about 10 minutes then it turns white. After it turns white, it gives the error message cannot access system storage. It can't be put into safe mode either. What might be the problem?

Thank you, turned off and flipped over removed the plastic piece unscrewed and pulled it out used a microfiber towel and air and voila!!! Thank you so much put it back and screwed it in then plugged in started right up 😀

I have a question. I have a Seagate 1TB external HDD that I used as my PS4's extended storage. Now my PS4's internal HDD broke and I plan to replace it with the HDD I'll extract from my external HDD. My question is before extraction do I need to first reformat the external HDD using a PC or laptop? Or I don't have to do that because the PS4 can reformat it?

I had to do this because every time I put it in rest mode kept on getting stuck in some type of mode and then sit there making a chirping sound almost and then would completely shut off resulting and not being shut off properly. when I turned it back on it would be like it was unplugged and it would have to rebuild. so I won't be using rest mode I guess.

Hello and thank you for your video, i had the same problem and found out that my hard drive was damaged, i couldn't even read it on my pc because it wasn't detecting it, i would like to know how come my hard drive could have deteriorate while my pss4 is only 2 years old, it's insane !

Littl add to the formatting: i know, Quick Format is faster but its not really formatting. In fact you just overwrite the Table of Contents - so no files can be allocated again but its not deleting anything for real. If you physically wanna get rid of the files in order to get some space, uncheck the box. Then it overwrites every bit to a NULL state.

I just got this message for the first time recently. My SSD is only 1 year old & I tested it with my PC after the message appeared, the SSD is working. The original HDD was still operational/working when replaced with the upgraded storage. I have the original HDD drive as well & it’s also still operational. Neither drive seems to be accessible by the PS4 when powered on it’s the same error message

Sometimes this particular error is not fixed by just swap a new hdd Sometimes is an problem in the 5v line that feed the hdd.

Maybe the harddrive pins is not connecting to the ps4 try putting some folded paper on top of the harddrive before inserting it inside creating little pressure to connect the pins inside It works for me tho

If ur seeing this and u have the PS4 slim the hardive isn’t on the back and instead of search it up on google it’s on the left of the PS4 👍🏼
