Hey 👋 So i have this issue that happened to me twice now, basically i lost all of my save files. The first time it happened was when I put my ps4 in restmode, later when i opened my game i noticed that none of my saves were available to load. The second time the issue occurred when i booted my ps4 after a crash and a data reubuild screen. I remember trying to rebuild the database with itemzflow,i think , But it didn’t work. I would really appreciate a video that could help me with the problem and how i can prevent it from happening again. I started to copy my saves to a usb via Apollo save tool but this is no long term solution, very annoying if you always have to backup saves before shutting down the system + crashes are unpredictable. Thanks 🙏

You can also mod games using a jailbroken ps4 or ps5. For TLOU2, you can kill Abby at the beach. For Days gone, you can kill the samwil horde or iron butte horde by just 1 shot...... Etc etc.

I jailbroked my Ps4 for a while. Issues: Every time you power off you have to run the jailbreak again. If it fails to jailbreak successfully it gets stuck in this loop where it keeps failing. Works 4 out of 5 times fine, but still anoying. Sometimes it jailbreaks first time, you play 10 min and the console just switches off. Updating games is a hassle, everything is just more complicated. Some Ps1,Psp emulated games runs slow. Copied duplicate Ps1 games onto the internal drive and the file explorers were unable to delete them again wasting lots of space. The homebrew game suck.

8:20 A caveat for running linux, correct me if i'm wrong, some ps4 consoles will not have their wifi and bluetooth chips work on linux. So you may need to have an ethernet connection to connect to the internet, and wired gamepad connection, if you mostly use gamepad for games. I haven't tried other distros besides psxitarch though, so please let me know if some distros work with any ps4 wifi/bluetooth chip.

I'm mainly gaming on my ps5 these days, but still have an old firmware PS4 laying around waiting to be jailbroken, mainly for creating a retroarch kind of set-up on it. Are there any good front-ends on it, like the wii has wiiflow for showing all the games or coinops?

Ur PS4 doesn't get enough airflow if u put it on the table like that cause it's air holes are under If u like to put ur PS4 Vertically u can put it upside down though, yes i know the logo will also be upside down but at least it's better than burning up the inside
