Being one of the best Warcraft 3 players of all time while also having been streaming and casting MOBAs and RTS for a decade plus makes for a potent combo for The Grubster.
Awesome seeing Ceb coach you Grubby! And also interesting hero! LC is great initiator and can become second physical carry if her midgame and amount of won duels is enough. She is good and simple character with great complexity in between. Good luck on other heroes! Waiting for WK and some other left!

I remember being really surprised when this hero was ported to Dota 2 back then. Valve changed it from the Garithos model and made the character we have today. I do remember them saying there were no Female Strength heroes, so they changed LC's design for Dota 2. While I'm kinda bummed Dota 2 LC doesnt have a mount, the current design is really good and I think is on par and maybe better than the Garithos model. -And god do I want her to step on me-
There was a bit of a conversation that was floating around during that time and one of them I believe is that the LC in dota 2 is not the same character in dota 1 although they occupy the same title, LC from dota 1 retired or something like that.

I remember I played 2 games with you on HOTS, and there used to be a clip of me diving a fort a fort on Muradin and haymakered you lol. Was called "Boon the absolute mad man." I moved to DOTA after playing HOTS exclusively in 2019 with the Outlander patch after Blizzard murdered the game. I still like HOTS but DOTA is glorious.
Famously the Duel aghs scepter is one of the worst in the game. a few patches ago, it stopped damage from outside sources so there were a lot of instances where LC actually saved the enemy hero she dueled cause no one could do damage

They rode into their city, fighting through bloodstained alleyways and burning markets, cutting their way through the monstrous throng to the source of the sudden invasion: an ethereal rift within the city square, and at its precipice thundered their dreaded champion. *If you get into the situation around 19:00 on a tanky hero, just leave the enemy creeps out of tower range, that way there's a few left to start denying your own creeps. Murder all the ranged creeps while no one is around. Legion like axe has a lot of advanced tactics around aggro, like don't forget that you can right click on any visible enemy hero(even illusions) on the map to draw aggro from nearby creeps. You want as many creeps/units hitting you in general for farming, especially if you're trying to kill a tower or a hero in lane and you have plenty of health. Also useful of course for controlling the lane if no one is around. Just drag the wave to your ranged creep. **Like if you're solo pushing a creep wave just try to draw aggro to get more procs. ****Oh thanks ceb, it's like you know what you're doing
Hey man, keep in mind that LC is kinda weak against stuns bcoz your passive will not proc while being stunned (unlike axe's counter helix that still proc while being stunned) thats why 4 heroes in this game counters your really well

Grubby I think you should upload the Shadowfiend and Shadow Shaman games --when the time comes--. They will be landmark vides in your journey and would be a distinct flavour from all other current and future vids.
Three early points in Overwhelming Odds is way better in the early lane game, in my opinion. I also prefer magic wand over soul ring for LC, one of my favorite heroes in DOTA2, especially against heroes that spam spells like lion and bristleback.

following these item build guides isn't really the best thing as a novice. grubby gets a bunch of active items and he can't handle using them at all. he should focus on more passive items instead and maybe add the active ones one by one in builds until familiar with them. learning all at once is hard
I dont blv he callibrated at horrible 1k. He was one of the best WC3 players lol. but then again you see how this game is roller coaster, is dota rly that difficult to learn? if someone already know wc3 and still not that good at dota, then only god knows how totally new player will be lol.

The enemy lineup looks pretty bad for your LC actually. Almost every hero on enemy team can counter you very hard. But, we have Ceb as a coach, no way you gonna lose this game.
@@abca14045 There is no "Marci buff" that stuns. And Marci didn't land the stun on Venge, nor was she close enough to hit her. But it does seem to be Marci right click, but from way far away, so it's like a bug, when you sometimes have those long range melee attacks. That is my only guess.
