Cece has a darker tone than Whitney. She seems to be placing her notes at the back of her head whereas Whitney was sort of blasting them out. But they both have/had beautiful voices with a very similar vocal technique.
That's when classification comes in... they both are mezzo sopranos... Whitney a lyric lighter more range and Cece more of a dramatic heavy and darker but still using that head voice to mix and hit that note at the end. They both fully understand the mechanics of how to sing...

You can tell when she started singing count on me she meant it from her heart...I got chills.... and she sand that one mostly to the camera...I hope whitney was watching...I feel she really needed that one...especially at this time she had so much with bobby and then having her second miscarriage ugh I can't imagine the pain.

I suppose Whitney would’ve performed this night had she not had the miscarriage-it would’ve been awesome to hear her perform “You Were Loved” live. I imagine Whitney would have ended the performance with that “Loved” in the head voice as well, so hearing Cece execute it so similarly was wonderful-this was an absolutely amazing performance.

Have to admit Cece sang you were loved as if shes the original singer. Whitney is the voice . But its like Cece is the voice for the soul. In my opinion her voice is sweeter and purer , it reminds me of milk honey and olive oil . Not to mention rich with incredible power .
