Loving Cedar Ctiy! Subscriber MeetUp! My name is Brian. I live on the road full time in my self built camper van. Join me on my adventures. In this video I show around my camp at Coal Creek in Cedar Ctiy, Utah
I go into town to give a look around downtown Cedar City. Then I meet up with a subscriber from Cedar City. Jeff is a great guy who was very helpful in doing some much needed repairs on my van. Thank you Jeff so much for your hospitality and help with the van repairs. This has truly turned out to be a trip of a life time meeting up with such great people and getting a genuine experience in this town. Thanks for watching!

Sasquatch nest, haha good one. Learn to weld someday???? Why not today! Welding is so easy and attainable. Harbor freight tools has a decent litttle fluxcore welder for around $100 or less when on sale. Buy it, watch a few youtube videos and you will be welding the same day! Welding is not hard at all and once you just do it, you'll be flabbergasted that you hadent started welding years ago. Eventually, you'll want to upgrade to a nice mig or learn to tig, but the HF flux welder is so cheap to start with. Seriously, just do it!

Jeff reminds me of a small town in Saskatchewan Canada. I was having some major issues with my truck @ camper. The town had a free camp ground so I pulled in to camp. The campground maintenance man and I were having a chat and I mentioned my problem's and within a couple of hours I had four men helping with the repairs me. Three day's later I was up and running again. They even supplied used parts for truck. What a great experienced.

Excellent video Brian...Utah is beautiful as are the lived in areas, city buildings, etc. Love to see all of that. Cedar city is really neat. Also, love to see you guys at work. What a great job he did on the van repair. You are meeting some really neat and wonderful people. This is what we should be doing for each other. Helping each other. Being kind. Generous when we can. Yoooo Brian, I'm loving the new concepts of meetups this time around because you can glean different ideas/help from the new people you meet. Great camp site except for the trash and that is a disgrace. Truly pitiful how some people can be. Glad that you were able to hookup with Jeff and thank you Jeff for helping Brian. We travelled from Milwaukee thru that awesome area on our Wild West adventure last summer. Landscape and people... incredible. We stopped at Kanab, about 80 miles away, where the Rat Pack (Sinatra, Sammy Jr etc) hung out, and where a dilapidated Gunsmoke set still exists. Extremely helpful visitor center. Terrific that followers community are helping with your journeys

Super guy so nice to help. I so wish people would clean up after themselves at campsites and everywhere! Most often they are within a few feet of a trashcan. Take some responsibility. Ah well....

Hey Brian..another great video ! I hear ya on cleaning up that mess..only so much one person can do..everyone needs to at least do their part in leaving the free camps as clean as they were. Awesome that Jeff was able to help you out with the van..way above and beyond..everyone needs a friend like him as well as try to be that friend to your fellow vanners ! Brian, It's always impressive to see how you try to clean up public lands, when you can. One suggestion would be to use a heavy duty bag to contain some of the mess, and place it not inside your van, but on top... and drive slowly enough to that it stays there until you can reach a proper disposal dumpster. If everyone did just a little bit, the sites would be cleaned up.

Brian, You might want to reinforce the door where the carrier bolts to it. A thicker gauge of metal and broader to spread the weight and vibration. Maybe he did that on the inside and I missed it. Anyway good to meet people with tools skills and the willingness to help.

Careful ! Gather up the wood have a a bon fire. Burn the paper,books. Light plastic. Pots, pans, tin cans You can scrap. Put the metal in fire To clean, not melt. Pain & a shame People do that. Shame its not policed more or checked more by Rangers. Bless you. Safe travels.

If I was picking up other peoples garbage, I'd hang those bags on the outside of the van (like the bike rack) until I got to a place to throw them away. I wouldn't put them in my van. Bungee or tie those bags to the bike rack! Good of you to help clean the place up for the next person!

Hi Brian, I been watching you ever since you started on You Tube. I bought a High Top Promaster Van and just starting to turn it into a camper. I been watching you on my big screen TV ..on Roku for years. Love your Video's.... Don't stop making them. Also, would know what ever happen to Rufus n Dufus. Don't see him anymore... I went through Cedar City once, I remember seeing a large red 'Cedar City' sign on the side of the mountain, like the Holywood sign, that stuck in my mind for 25 years, is it still there ?

...btw a word of advice, lock your bike down really good if you are heading into OR it seems to be a racket here, and bikes are constantly being stolen. Just happened to another Vlogging travel couple recently in Coos Bay, luckily they recovered one of the two bikes. They had them bike locked to the back of their RV. I know there is only so much you can worry yourself about, not trying to blow it up, just wanting to give a heads up.

If you ever make it to Florida, you will need to install a tag light (license plate white light) or risk getting pulled over ever 10 miles or so...

I've been looking for a small town for relocating. Cedar City looks interesting. You walked by an Indian Restaurant, Bombay something. That pretty much sealed the deal for me. I'm enjoying watching your meandering. Camping by the creek at Coal Creek looks somewhat ideal, except for the fact it may be a "favorite" transient camp.

I long for better city parks for occasional daytime r and r. Where I like the city parks are very tiny and generally unenjoyable. Some day, some day. Nice job with the welding and door repair fix. )
