My husband and I are taking our 14 YO grandson for a week....staying at Lighthouse Point in our RV. It's July 4th week, so I know we will see crowds, but we have 3 days of park admission, so I hope we can be strategic about getting all the coasters in! Your video is very helpful!!
My thoughts: - If going early in season or cooler days park in the back where the waterpark is - Save money - pack a cooler and eat lunch in your car or even find some grass (by Gemini) in parking lot to eat - Food at park is really expensive - Start in the back Frontier Town and work your way to the front (rides in back at open are less busy) - Drink Pass if planning on going more than once. You can get a drink every 15 mins - Use the app - its not always 100% accurate but a good measure - Gemini is the fastest line - If you need to go (back to front) - ride the train in Frontier town (near Steel V) and then from there easy walk to sky baskets which take you to front
Appreciate it. Me and the wife going towards the end of Aug. We’re staying at Hotel Breakers, staying 4 nights and purchased 3 day Flash Passes for a total $3K. We plan on doing the thing!
Have you been to King’s Island? Me and my mom went in October and I got the one day dining plan and split it with her and it was so worth it!!!! I wasn’t hungry all day, even with sharing. I convinced my friend to get the dining plan with me for CP because I figured since they’re owned by the same people the value was probably there. I didn’t spend literally any extra money at KI because the meal ticket kept me full.
Thing I like about CP is it's not just us guy enthusiasts that like this park, it's also beautiful women like the OP and the along for the ride girl. I need one.
I was excited about the mac shack just to find out its not open anymore. So much has changed since this video it's crazy how inconsistent and confusing this place is.
Six Flags Magic Mountain in California is the only park out there that I can think of whose roller coaster collection is better than this one and it's only by a narrow margin. That's how great this park is. I am going back there as soon as they open this reimagined Top Thrill Dragster.
I’m planning on visiting once they reopen dragster. I went to knotts berry farm and was disappointed when xcelerator was closed. I hear it’s the sister to dragster. I’m very excited on visiting this park for the 1st time. Magic mountain is my home theme park
that sucks that you can't walk to Cedar Point. That sort of limits my options if I want to go as I don't drive and the idea of spending like $20 just to get a Taxi or something to and from the park is kind of dumb too. Also the hotels on the Point are VERY expensive often starting at at least $130 a night even outside of Summer.
Very helpful video, I'm gonna visit the park for my first time in a month and I have 3 days, unfortunately on a hollyweekend, but it wasn't possible to it on 3 weekdays. I know you can get fast lane plus with the platinum pass for the price of fast lane and I wanted to ask you if you know if I can buy it with this discount somwhere online or if I can only get that at the park. I'm a bit worried that it's gonna be that buisy, that fast lane plus is sold out, can that happen or do they sell them unlimited? Thank you!
Junk food... yuck. I wish amusement parks would go to more healthy options. Cedar Point has several healthier options now, but I wish the government would do more to remove greasy fried food and especially targeting fries, from the American diet.
@@jandrew1994 I agree! When I go there, ofc I have fried/junky foods, but I bring smoothies and or salads to have something fresh and delicious preferably in the mornings or when I need a break lol. (If I stay in the hotel)
