Wow! Riverside Plaza was featured as Mary Tyler Moore’s Second Apartment! Actually, they filmed the outside of the building.. Sorry! I am such a fan of the show! Last year when I visited I didn’t get an opportunity to visit that area! Thank you for your video!

Do not go to those Apartments featured in the MTM show, it is dangerous there, and even more dangerous at night, there are Somali gangs that roam that area. Beware.

wow. i used to be a weekend drinker down there in 1983-1984. my friends had relatives that lived all over there . i grew up a southsider . RIP viking bar and 400 club

Yeah, it seemed fine except for the one guy who got mad because he didn’t want to be recorded (which I can respect). I’ve heard people having bad experiences there recently but it was pretty mellow on this Saturday afternoon. Very cool area, wish I could see more of what it looked like decades ago

This city died after coronavirus. Minneapolis was once an incredibly active city, but now the skyway feel so empty and so many businesses shut down. City regulations basically fucked over everything and I'm not sure if we'll ever see MSP go back to how it was.

I think it will happen someday. We lost all the money from Covid business, a large portion of lake street had to be rebuilt (costly) after the riots, the community is still figuring out how to properly heal after all of the events that happened a few years ago. We’ve just gotta keep moving forward. I’m hopeful. Thanks for the comment

that area looks soo different in the day I'm a garbage man and have to drive through there in the night and i only mostly see the Fentanyl zombies and encampments

People threatened for recording the area, just more reason Not to go to this place, Riverside Plaza is a dump, if it wasn't for staff picking up stuff in this place it would look like downtown Mogadishu. Stay away.
