@@irfanjusuf4583 yeah, an Australian sergeant major in Kanlısırt (a place where intense fight took place) get shooted by a Turkish bullet in the front of his trench, Australian troops couldn't help him because of the intense fight but the sergeant major was about to die. Then Turkish soldiers waved a white flag from the Turkish trenches and stopped the fight. After that a Turkish soldier left his trench and carried him to Australian trenches, then he went back to his own trench and they started to fight again. This is a good reason why all wars should end.
gives me goosebumps to hear such a powerful and enbraving march and gun shots from distance while thinking about my great great grandfathers marching into certain death without hesitation, my great great grandfather wasn't at gallipoli but he was at sarıkamış-kars, russians captured him, he saw death of his comrades and he lived as a captive for few years, entire turkish nation has stories told by their great grandfathers some of them lost their life some had chance to come back at home, entire genre sacraficed theirselves for our motherland to be free, the color red on our flag is the blood of our great grandfathers our fathers and our brothers in army who gave their last breathe for our dearest motherland, may their legacy lives on...
my great grandfather was in galipoli faught against the british, french, greeks and russian he was a tall man (2m10) who got shot 7 times. they took off his body 5 ammo and 2 rested on his body and he stayed alive until his 90 years. he was a hero who wasnt scared of death beacause they killed jis brother in front of him and he took his revenge by killing a whole esquade of greek soldiers and came back to our village and married my great grandmother
Russian Russians, and the most unpleasant thing is that your ancestor could fight not with the Russians, but with the Turkic Tatars as part of the Russian army
my grandfather also fought in the battle of Gallipoli as a Turkish soldier and we still have his medal as a veteran who was shot in the leg, this video gave me that moment
I was reading an Ottoman medic's account of Gallipolli, he recalled seeing some Ottoman soldiers (mainly the Arab units from Iraq, but some Anatolians too) not even having proper equipment. Some of the Ottomans charged into no man's land with nothing to fight with but a kilij or a khanjar Here's to a hope that nothing like WW1 is ever witnessed again
I've seen on BF1 that medics also used the same bandages over and over again with sodium carbonate. I was so shocked by this and gave it a research and it sadly turned out true. I even saw an article that a surgeon lost his son to help someone else because his son was badly wounded and can not be fixed more. He did the other guys surgery while his son was crying out by pain.
That sounds horrible dude. But I do love BF1 for what it did; shining light on a horrible war thats usually overshadowed by its second rendition. It lead me to genuinely believe WW1 is the worst war in history
More like an occidental agent to destroy the ancestral Islamic heritage of Turkey, the Turks were nothing and Islam elevated them to the top of History, wake up Turks, wake up...
They won the battle but Ottomans were occupied after war by Brits and some Arabs. Probably they bribed another nations living there. Ataturk was good politician who raise independent modern country.
@@HassanHassan-ue1vc In fact, it's not their fault, they came there because they were exposed to the propaganda and coercion of the English King, even at first they were told that they would attack Germany, but in fact they would invade the Ottoman Empire.
Probably my favorite remix of this most favorite march, these sounds are breathtaking and allow you to feel the thoughts of those people, those people who shed their own blood for the flag with the crescent moon, many peoples need to learn from the Turks their patriotism, unity and devotion to the motherland So eternal memory to the heroes and their descendants❤🇹🇷
My Fathers Greatfather served at the gallipoli for his Sultan. But he only spoke Kurdish and I got told many stories of when he was the only man in his unit not speaking Turkish. Nevertheless witnessing the end of the Empire and with it any diversity in the Nation
Bu gidişle boşa aktı gibi keşke bunu demeseydim ama Türk milleti Suriyeli kesimden daha da geri planda kaldı. Ne zaman bu çukurdan çıkacağız işte orasını bizim belirlememiz gerekecek.
My grandfather's fought for my freedom to break off Ottoman Empire im glad about it, but on the other side I'm kinda sad such an empire to fall I don't have words to describe it. I don't blame Turkey for what they did to us because I would have done the same as much as I dont like it i respect it, Turkey you have my respect 🇲🇰🇲🇰🇲🇰
@@II-ug8ji Tatar? No my friend I'm pure blood macedonian from an fallen aristocratic family. What about you? I can't say the same for you I would assume that you are a multivitamin what are you albanian mongolian bulgarian geyreek?
You faced the same fate in Balkans too. You were united under Yugoslavia after Habsburgs, united in race and belief, yet that was not enough for any of you. Freedom for you Balkan people is nothing more than being a pawn for greater powers and disintegrating to the tiniest piece.
@@alpddar2518 The whole balkan is just a mine for the rich, we vbeen conquered by empires over and over again yet our culture is still strong. Balkan people are very interesting no matter how much i hate them i gotta admit if united they are a scary power
@@christinesulyvahn6043 Raised in the West, you may not grasp it. In 1915, men worldwide flocked to Gallipoli without clear cause. Unlike them, the Ottomans had motivations. As Muslims, we hold life sacred, forbidding suicide or unjust war. Yet, if compelled, we believe in an afterlife, willingly sacrificing for the innocent and those dear to us. Death is inevitable; thus, while you cherish life, we embrace the idea of a meaningful death.
@@momosurat629 I read it, and all i can think is how stupid your culture is to feel great by killing your people because of an delusional pride you say to feel from an sacrifice. So instead of say that, i say you love war, you won't change my opinion, and i ain't here to change yours

@Decrepit Lira will go back to being a good curreny again when our leader changes and rules the country for better dont worry. Also if you crossed the boshoporus then the war would end for us way sooner which would probably be the end of turkiye because Atatürk's rank would not increase and the sultan would send someone else to anatolia.
Mustafa Kemal Pasha was appointed to the Caucasus Front after the Gallipoli front was closed, and there he led the offensive that actually pushed the Russians back.
@@arda213 Thank you, but I was already informed of that by a previous reply to my comment. (Not the specific places, but that fact he was transferred to the Caucasus front)
Thé Trenches in the Ottoman land wasnt scary as it seems its just hard like the countrys entire food supply and farming lands were raided and destroyed but Ottomans and nationalists fought brave
Damn its really sad and disappointing to see some turks disrespecting and hating their own great leader Ataturk who saved their country and rebuilt it from from an fallen empire's ashes. Even me, someone from the US feels disappointed. Ataturk is respected and seen as an intellegent, charismatic leader by everyone around the globe and so many people from so many countries around the globe would LITERALLY die to be under his wings. He was such a influential, smart, modernist and futurist leader who wanted the best for his country. Shame on the turks who hate and disrespect this great leader. We need more leaders like him. Some people really don't deserve good things i guess.
Most of Turks respects Ataturk. But there's a religious minority hates him. But their problem is with being secular. Also no one cares their opinion so as a Turk i respect Atatürk.
