13:46 Interestingly enough, Nate could have just chosen to leave El's Archivist of Oghma in play - it's a forced draw trigger, and if Nate had just chosen to do infinite searches through his library causing infinite card draws, any time El tried to interact (e.g. Solitude), Nate could have had her just draw another infinite number of cards. It's purely academic at this point since Nate had the win either way, but that could be a workaround for a protection effect like a freshly cast One Ring. Edit: of course, almost all the searches would be "fail to find", but that's still triggering the Archivist.

With the Safekeeper Nadu thing, you can let the Nadu trigger resolve then respond to the safekeeper with another activation. Wouldn't have mattered the way it played out for Cam since he knew what was on top and it wasn't a land

One thing I’ve noticed with CEDH players and Nadu is they run the creatures with landfall make a creature but I don’t think they run enough lands to reliably hit off the nadu triggers. Maybe it’s just the games I watch but I’ve seen a lot of nadu fizzles

Love seeing Sisay do well. She has never been in a better position. She has the highest win rate in cEDH tournaments and an amazing top 16 percent. ComedIanmtg thinks it is clearly the second best deck in cEDH right now after blue farm and I agree.

Was there a specific reason you didn't use Gaea's Cradle to cast the Shunko? Then you could use Minamo to force one Nadu trigger (assuming there was a mental misstep).

Love seeing ellivere but its a tough deck to get a win with. Id also like to say i think Nate has gained more skill piloting in Cedh, i love it.

Cam, you can resolve the nadu trigger before choosing to sac another land, while the Sylvan ability is on the stack

I'm confused as to why Cam didn't give Nadu shroud on the turn that it got hit with swords to plowshares and instead used it 4 times on other creatures.

Sisay is that deck that is so unaffected by most stax effects. It is so hard to navigate a board state with stax pieces that affect that deck and yours, since 1 card is enough to win them the game if sisay is on board. What a nice game. Really well fought one

Cam, you can actually do the safekeeper activation, trigger nadu to see what you get and then when it goes back to the stack you can hold priority and sac another land, so you have more information if you want to really sac a land.

Shifting Woodland seems strong in Atraxa as basically an uncounterable Food Chain if it goes to the yard. Not sure where to make room for it yet tho.

Man it was kinda hard watching cam fall down the sylvan safe keeper trap with Nadu lol. It’s too easy to just sac all your lands hoping to replace them and keep going.

11:53 so it is legal to respond before someone goes to change phases? i've always wondered about this for these types of situations where the player plays something, then goes to leave the phase in very much this exact situation. And if your not legally supposed to play on such a point is it strategic to play something then go to change phases causing the mana an opponent floated from using a mana source that would be unavailable upon the spell resolving so that opponent actually doesn't have anything to "respond to" as a way to "gain priority?" i would like to add i'm still in the "ban Nadu" camp, if you don't shut down it's ability to "free target" as soon as one such of those cards like Shuko show up Nadu just wins the game from there. And the King Seas Blessing card while it's a massive high synergy for Nadu it's really only good if you have 7+ creatures one of being Nadu on field otherwise it basically does nothing. I'd say the same for it's green counterpart. The game would had been VERY different if the Shuko had resolved and was made use of even if for four activations. When i do my Nadu deck i will not be doing Sylvan Safekeeper even if he's high synergy because ideally your gaining the lands back it feels like too "high risk high reward" for what you could be doing.

You made a rules mistake here, and I haven’t seen anyone else point this out, likely because of how unintuitive it is. Adding and removing abilities happens on the same layer, so when there are 2 things on the board trying to add or remove abilities, we look at timestamp order. For example, if a Scute Swarm was on the board with Nadu trying to grant it a busted ability, and a Kenrith’s Transformation trying to take away all abilities, you would look at time stamps to see what you apply first. In this case, Nadu was on the board first, which means that your Newly An Elk would gain the ability but immediately lose it, so you don’t get any value off of targeting it. It doesn’t matter here, but it might be relevant for the future, especially for the Stax player in the pod.
