I loved the game and the guests you had, but I don't like watching high powered games like that all the time - it usually boils down to one of a handful of win cons and diminishes each individual commander's identity.

Putting Ian and Rebell in a pod is a recipe for an incredibly fun pod. Adding Hotdog on top of that makes the good vibes absolutely overflow. Awesome game, loved seeing it.

This is one of the more typical cEDH games you can watch, but with a slight twist on the outcome. It had the Thoracle combo (attempted, but countered) and the infinite mana and draw combo (not done because of Sheoldred).

Not typically a fan of CEDH but the table was a fun group and made for an enjoyable watch. It's not always a bad thing to have an express game like that.

@@ryangoodenow2518 I mean it's a competitive format, of course ppl are net decking. If your goal is to play the deck with the highest chance of winning, and someone else has already built a better deck than you ever could, why would you waste time building a new deck? Competitive games function on different axis than casual ones. Also most people would say that shorter games is a good thing.

Now that I rebuilt my Winota, I have a spare Bruse Tarl, I'm not sure if I should go Bruse Thrasois or Bruse Ikra. I kinda like the idea of Bruse Ikra big butts :)

cEDH is so serious and makes for really joyless content. Even when you guys do a round of cEDH, it's missing the casual table talk and politicking that make your videos so fun and unique. THAT SAID, this is the first time I've ever enjoyed watching a cEDH match. You got a great mix of people at the table who weren't afraid to joke around and even go out of their way to politic. Well done!

Went to a lgs last time, they were playing "cEDH" where the "c" stands for cheaters. Half their decks were proxies. Fine by me if people want to play that way on a kitchentable, but not in an event. If you cannot afford the cards, dont play the deck. It is just insulting to the real mtg players. Also their decks were netdecked. Also fine, but know how the deck work.

Although true, it also sucks to not be able to really play games of that calibur when cedh is that expensive. Depending on what the event is, and what it gives. I wouldnt mind. Tbh. Gatekeeping sucks, and being so poor that youll never see the day to play a cedh, proxies are nice in that regaurd. Magic at the end of the day is about having fun.
