I used to live across the street from the "old man who works on everyone's car" and he was exactly like this. He also only ever went inside his house to sleep or use the restroom because he hated his wife, and wasn't shy about admitting it. It was a bit sad, but he was an extremely good neighbor to everyone around and always had a smile for anyone who came by.

"Once you get outside, it's all yours" How things changed.

There was one in my neighbourhood growing up. We used to call him 'Every Bit' cause he used to make sure he smoked that cigarette all the way up to the filter and make sure he got every bit.

I like the old time smokers who would start laughing at a joke so hard then start hacking and coughing like they were going to die. Usually those were funny bastards.

When I lived in Alabama there was this old guy named Arthur who worked on cars in the hood and that's exactly how he talked with a cigarette in his mouth!!!!!!! and a lot of times you just bought him a box of smokes or a couple of 6 packs Cedric nailed it!!!

Truly one of the funniest routines ever, without any profanity. Cedric reads human character so well.

I used to work at this small firm and one of the more senior guys used to stand outside but completely hide his cigarette if anyone came and wouldn't take a drag until they left. He'd hide it behind his back, but you could see there was smoke coming from behind him and you could so obviously smell it. Weird, as plenty of people there smoked

When you would go see the Rams, they had a entire section for smoking! The cloud would be thick, the people would disappear! Peace!

My grandfather was like the man who worked on everyone's car, except he was a butcher. He was one of the most well-known men in the community. He was loved by everyone and everyone knew not to fuck with him or you'd be done for. He was one of those smokers who had the cigarette dangling off his bottom lip and could be talking about whatever and it still stay on, I have no idea how that man did it. RIP big man

My former manager told me of ye olden days when there were 2 break rooms, Smoking & Non-Smoking. He didn't smoke, but he took his breaks in the Smoking room because everyone in there was there to chill and everyone in the Non-Smoking room was there to gossip and complain about work.

Ooooh my smoking memories has been activated watching this. Me and my friends all had our favorite sigaret brand. We had Marlboro, Morello, Benson&Hedges, Pall Mall etc etc. But I think we all had that one cheap and greedy friend who never bought his own pack but somehow always has a filled pack.......with all different types of sigaret brands in it!!. You know that guy who asks everyone for a sigaret or two and puts it in his own pack. By the end of the day when you see him re-openen or shake out a sigaret you see all types of brands like WHAT!?? Worst part is that our guy didn't even smoke or should I say inhale. He just wanted to look cool amongst the "cool" looking dudes. Just puffed and puffed away but we all could clearly see him never inhale. Keeps it in his cheeks and seconds later let's it go. Side note: now I said cool like this "cool" because it is not cool. Do not smoke people it is so not worth it healthy wise.
