To be honest- Scott's just a very experienced player- there's no short cuts, its just a matter of the usual routes- long tones and plenty of practice

Saxophones Ltd Following that same logic, would you be able to apply a bari reed onto a tenor? Or a tenor reed on a bari? The whole swapping reeds idea seems pretty intriguing as I play bari.

I've used a tenor reed while doing sax chamber groups. On the alto, it allows it to blend a bit more with the other guys but it's only necessary if you don't have a soprano.

I love Tenor Sax out of them all, it has the perfect range, in my opinion. I've played Bari, Alto, Soprano, and Tenor and I feel like Tenor is my favorite.

BobTheZombie 57 What does any of what you said have to do with anything? Don't project your own problems in such a reactionary way, sheesh. If you truly want to look like an idiot, turn on a metronome and start it at any point in the video. It'll very quickly go out of sync.

Alexander Sabater Well, my brain keeps the tempo when listening, it's just too off here as to not be distracting. It also makes it seem very unprofessional. The performance kept bringing my attention to it in the wrong way because of it and it couldn't be enjoyed. If you can somehow ignore the changes in tempo, I guess as you say, the rest is fine.

***** Lol, a nazi.. Yes, you're right. But in this case it wasn't fine. It sounded ridiculous and would to anyone with any real musical sense. And everyone nowadays plays an instrument for years of their life; that doesn't make you a musician with a "more certified opinion" - just getting that out of the way preemptively.

I may have given up marching the Bari to go on to drumline but #1 i'm still a Bari at heart and #2 who can blame me drumline is the most lit and fun part of the marching band. And don't worry i still play the Bari for everything else like concert and jazz band.

I learned all saxophones from middle school up to my Highschool, the hard part is that I started from alto up to the others so it was really breath taking.
