That's one of Daryl's many many hits. He and John Oates ruled the eighties and nineties as Hall and Oates. These are shot in full episodes. They'll do a couple of Daryl's songs and a couple of the guests songs, with a break in between to cook some food in Daryl's kitchen and talk music around the table. As someone who's been a working musician and a full time chef for a long time, this series is the best of both worlds. I've discovered some amazing talent on LFDH.

It's just one of those things that many are afraid to say in the comments. But I'll give it a whirl. The thing about Daryl, and John. 'Hall and oats'. was that they were that age growing up that they learned, admired, and had the influance of that old 'Mowtown' greatness. Primarily The black performers, and the crew from Muscle shoals. and rolled with that vibe for lack of a better word. Which made them a ton of money in the 80's. But more than that it gave them the skillz to jam with about any and every one ever in the biz. Live From Daryl's House is a great testement of that. Daryl, and crew can jam with the best of them. and because of that we music fans get the pleasure of watching/hearing such jams.

You have to think of musicians the same way as athletes. They could make 19 great plays in a row and they'll always be thinking about that 1 where they didn't grab right or could have done more. It's not ego, it's drive
