Cool, I’m glad you are doing what you love. Also the capacitor can be replaced on that Quorum if you haven’t already. Also, there are 2 Quorum Chateauxs in my aunt’s house along with 6 Estates of the same brand and a Monte Carlo Maxima. They are all from between 2004 and 2005 and 2005 is when that house was built. But one of the Chateauxs was replaced with a later model from 2017, from eBay, exact same finish, and that was replaced because the bearings were so bad that the fan cannot spin at all, so glad it was replaced.
On the quorum Chateaux, thanks but very aware. The issue is... We/the buyer kinda messed up. It's a screened porch and that's an indoor fan. They didn't tell us where exactly they were using it. It's also humming. Spinning 85rpm. Spec is about 125. It's a damn 188x25. It should roll better than that. I was going to upsize the cap to a 5.5 I had in my bag knowing the 188 could take it just fine (DOE sucks) until I realized the blades were MDF. So... We made the executive decision to just defect it out. These clips happened yesterday and I had time last night so I decided to toss out a video.
